Our far too short time in Vera's small loft was rainy but still incredibly relaxing. We felt right at home thanks to Vera's warm manner. The place is super clean and decorated with visible creativity, love and craftsmanship in every corner. It is really very cozy and, due to the many upcycling and the beautiful location, extraordinary and close to nature. Despite the rain, we sat for a long time in the covered outdoor area and watched the cats and ducks and listened to the pouring rain. The Baldeneysee is within walking distance through the beautiful forest and restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby. Hey. We booked for 4 nights at Easter and slept there with a toddler. The sofa bed is great for 2 people but a little too small for a 3rd person like our 2-year-old son. My husband then moved to the single bed and then went to sleep. Otherwise, everything was very clean and maintained. There was also a washing machine on another floor. We lacked nothing. Since we did not use the kitchen, we cannot assess it but there was no oven. However, a small air fryer is ready to bake and otherwise there is really everything you need to prepare. Furthermore, there is a small, unfenced terrace that invites you to linger. Highly recommend the place and host Timothy.

You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful apartment. The fenced garden was ideal for our dogs, who also enjoyed the walks by the nearby water. Everything was tip top clean and nicely decorated - you noticed that someone made an effort. The surroundings are amazing and you can quickly reach all the interesting places in the Ruhr area. An absolute recommendation!
