Within 15 minutes there is Totenåsen with abundant hiking opportunities winter such as summer, Norsk Hestesenter Starum, Gjøvik and Toten golf club Sillong, Gjøvik city with mountain hall and wheel steamer Skibladner. An hour's drive to the Mjøsbyene Lillehammer and Hamar.

The cabin is located by itself in a quiet bay, but still has a central location with short distance (shortcut on foot) to Eina city center with shop (Kiwi), public transport (bus and train), and other services.
