Welcome to our Hunchy Cottage located on two acres in the foothills of the scenic Blackall Range. Just 1 hour from Brisbane the cottage offers privacy, gorgeous views and a peaceful country feel. Only minutes from the charming villages of Montville and Palmwoods, a great range of eating options and just 20 minutes to beautiful Sunshine Coast beaches. The cottage is separate from our home and is your own while you stay. You will enjoy great access to all that the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

The couple's cabin is one of three close-knit pavilions at The Bower, rustique rainforest retreat; a tiny hamlet only 10 minutes drive from Maleny and 20 minutes to Woodfordia. You have the ground floor all to yourself in a 2 storey house. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place. Only 15 minutes drive to the beautiful hinterland town of Maleny and 15 minutes to the popular Australia Zoo or 30 minutes to the beaches at Caloundra. Children are welcome and we provide a high chair, a safety bed rail and a port a cot, if needed. Your dog is welcome also, it will share the backyard with our friendly dog unless you advise otherwise. I can keep my dog upstairs.

Jindilli Cottage is ideally situated just 6 minutes from Maleny centre on an idillic private acreage surrounded by farmland. Soak in the outdoor bath as the sun sets over the picturesque mountains, and enjoy the spectacular night sky as you toast marshmallows by the fire pit. Pick organic herbs and veg from the garden for your dinner and enjoy exclusive use of the tennis court and cabana. Wave to the cows, and admire the award-winning miniature horses and sheep on the neighbouring farm.

Honeyeater Haven Garden Studio

Just a 15 minute scenic drive from Maleny you will find peace and tranquility staying in the self contained garden studio here in our pretty forest setting. Wake up to the sound of birdsong and enjoy the many varied feathered friends that call this place home in addition to wallabies, kangaroos, possums, bandicoots, echidnas and even the occasional koala. Some of the more regular visitors being a variety of honeyeaters, yellow robins , king parrots , rainbow lorikeets and fairy wrens.

Journey back in time while enjoying the luxury of a fully renovated and contemporory train carriage fitted out with bedrooms, kitchenette, bathroom, toilet and living /TV area and indoor electric fire. Enjoy the sweeping views of the valley overlooking Sarah's hobby farm on the large deck and entertaining area inc. BBQ facilities. Roast marshmallows over your own personal fire-pit at night. Twice daily animal feeding and experiences for the Children led by Sarah your hostess.

Birdsong Villa - Figtrees on Watson

Birdsong Villa (at Figtrees on Watson) is a purpose architect designed fully self contained cottage for use by our short stay guests. It is on the same property as our very popular Betharam Villa (see Figtrees on Watson listing for photos and information about this beautiful property). The villa has been designed to be wheelchair friendly with wide door opening and minimal door sills. The villa was completed in early 2021 and had been finished and furnished to a high standard.
