The perfect place for Aurora. Outdoor sauna/tub.

Beautiful secluded cabin with sauna and tub at no extra cost. Situated in a small picturesque fjord, 1.5 hrs drive from Tromsø. Perfect location to experience sound of silence and get in touch with nature, while watching Aurora in winter and the midnight sun in summertime. Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

We love our house! It's on the most amazing location right by the sea with a view over beautiful mountains, surrounded by nature, and if you are lucky you'll see wild life like reindeers, otters, moose and whales and you can also see Northern Lights from the house. We built the house in 2018 and moved in right away. The house is modern, well equipped and it has a fantastic panorama sauna only a few meters from the sea. The place is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely cottage in Svensby, Lyngen. Beautiful location 10 m from the sea, in the middle of the Lyngen Alps. Only 90 minutes drive from Tromsø, including a short ferry trip. New, great cabin with a lovely view!

About this place: The hut is brand new and special. In the kitchen and living room there are large window surfaces and and very high under the roof. The view is therefore spectacular and has to be experienced. You can hear and see the sea from the terrace because the cabin is only 50 meters from the sea. You can park your car almost right next to the lodge. It is therefore very easy to use the cabin. You can carry your luggage right into the cabin.

Kvalöya Lodge is one of the nicest places we've ever had and Ketil is the nicest and most caring host you can imagine. We especially enjoyed the view of the fjord, the evening fireplace, the northern lights and Ketil's tips (Husky tour with Active Tromsö, reindeer herds (they like carrots by the way), Sommaröy, Eidel Handel (great supermarket for self-catering), Söstrene Kafé in Tromsvik). We ended up with a lot of snow - fortunately the country road is well cleared 24/7. Snowshoes and spikes are at guests' disposal.

A wonderful, warm, and memorable stay! We had such a wonderful time at Lisa’s unique, romantic fisherman’s cabin! The place itself is cottagecore — a charming cabin right by the water, with stunning views and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. What made our stay truly special was the kindness and generosity of Lisa, Tor Erlend, and their kids. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable — from providing warm blankets for airports, bringing us coffee, offering rides in days that buses r off, and helping us to stay warm. It felt more like staying around friends farm than just a rental. The whole family came together to create a warm, welcoming experience for us, and we left with wonderful memories we’ll treasure for a long time. We can’t wait to come back again. Thank you Lisa, Tor Erlend, and kids, for making it all so beautiful!

We were 8 people staying in Heidi's house for a week, focused on active spending of time (skiing, skitouring, hiking, ...). It was a great time - thank you for that! The good: 1. The house is very spacious, very comfortable with 8 people. 2. The living room is just the best 3. The location of the house is very good, close to city and airport yet in nature. 4. Heidi was super responsive and kind There is some room for improvement: with this price point I would expect the kitchen equipment to be more complete (e.g., we had the feeling that there is not enough knives and they are blunt, pans are cheap and scratched, cork stuff to put hot pots on top missing...), the fireplace came without the fire iron - weird, there were no matches just an not working lighter... Also, the heating system in the house seems to be a bit insufficient: we were using the fireplace all the time - would be cool if wood was supplied. But all this can be improved. All in all we love the satay!
