Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel" The atmospheric log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden wall, look out towards the Fochtelooërveen and in the beautifully maintained garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or any other crop. The cabin contains a bedroom, bath and living room and the whole can be heated with a wood stove. You can prepare yourself your own coffee or tea in the cabin.

The spacious apartment has been realized in the stable of a farmhouse. On the other side of this farm is a campsite with play facilities for children. The surrounding area offers many cycling and hiking opportunities. Unspoiled forests, moors, villages. In Hooghalen (easy walking distance) there is a baker and small supermarket.
