Country flat

Gezellige flatje met terras in het groen. De gehele ruimte met privé badkamer is voor de gasten, is volledig gescheiden van de rest van het huis en de flat heeft een eigen ingang. De flat is ook geschikt om in een rustige omgeving van 'thuisuit' te kunnen werken. De stijle buitentrap naar de flat en de trap in de woning zijn niet geschikt voor jonge kinderen. Ons huis staat aan het kruispunt van fiets- en wandelwegen. Er rijdt een bus van ons dorp Oelegem naar Antwerpen. De afstand naar Antwerpen is ongeveer 15km met de auto, de fiets of te voet! Bakker, supermarkt, beenhouwer, restaurants en kroeg in de buurt. Welkom in Oelegem!

Cottage small but nice between the greenery

The cottage can be found in a green wooded area, the village with shops, supermarket and some restaurants is 3 km away. You can enjoy outside in a small garden, the birds can be heard. The cottage has a living room with kitchenette (2 gas burners, fridge, freezer, sink, kettle and coffee maker), bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and adjoining you will also find the washing machine. The bedroom has a single bed and plenty of closet space. We provide a bike and further you can use the bus stop 500m from the cottage. The cottage is located behind the main house and is completely separated from it.

Our charming outbuilding is rural located in a large garden with animals, play tower and swing. On the ground floor there is an open kitchen and dining area with a view of the garden. On the first floor there is a living room, desk, bathroom and two bedrooms (1x double bed + cot and 2x single bed). There is parking for a car and bicycles can be placed covered. Ideal to come here after a campfire after a nice city trip to Lier or a walk on the Kesselse Heide. Welcome!

We enjoyed our stay in Gert's Airbnb in the charming Zurenborg neighborhood in Antwerp. The house is cozy, neat and is located in a beautiful neighborhood with impressive architecture and cozy cafes within walking distance. There were a few minor things missing in terms of practical skills, but that certainly didn't ruin our experience. All in all a wonderful place to explore Antwerp and we would love to come back!

We stayed at Joke's place as we were attending a wedding at a venue close by. Aside the convenience for that venue, we loved the idea of a tranquil spot surrounded by nature, and we were not disappointed. The barn is set in lush green surroundings which were a real delight to wake up to. The barn conversion is pared back, allowing the architecture of the building to shine through with lofty beams, a beautiful red brick exterior and lovely lighting choices. The bedrooms, up a fairly steep staircase, are simple but have all you need for a good night's sleep. Downstairs there is a comfortable lounge area, a dining area, a well appointed kitchen and a good sized bathroom. Some snacks and basic supplies were provided which was a lovely touch. Joke was an absolute pleasure and made our stay so comfortable. I would whole-heartedly recommend this place to anybody looking to visit Schilde.

Cosy back house near Antwerp

Bert and his wife were very friendly. We had a problem with our transport and they allowed us to keep our belongings in the lodge until we had van sorted. We didn’t use the mezzanine as stairs are steep and we are not young! We slept quite happily on the corner unit which was, surprisingly comfortable for the length of our stay, on ground floor. We’ed stay again. Thanks for your help with our situation Bert.
