Family-friendly vacation rentals in Raasepori

Hi! We had a great stay at villa! Antti was super friendly and good host. We thought that the beach would be more closer to the villa, so that was the only thing that we did not know before booking!

We had a fantastic and wonderfully relaxing time on this beautiful little private island. The island and the surrounding area are marvellous, beautifully quiet and the opportunity to explore the area by motorboat was a special experience for us. The hosts were also very friendly and very accommodating. Many thanks again and we would love to come back!

Nice, big and cozy place! Perfect accommodation when we spent a weekend in Ekenäs. Everything you need is available, from kitchen utensils to bicycles. Can really recommend!

We enjoyed it very much. Communication and also check-in/out were very straightforward. The cabin is not directly on the water, but I personally found it very nice as the forest and surroundings are beautiful. We even had a visit from deer several times. It's a short walk to the water. We sat a lot in sun loungers on the dock and were also able to use the rowing boat.

Magical place, lakeside house with everything you need and more. We were just amazed every day by the beauty of this place. Minna was super-responsive and very helpful. Greeted us in-person upon arrival and made us feel at home right away.

Great setting with a great location. Better equipped when the “wilderness cottage” implies. There were no needs missing, the kitchen is well-stocked. The sauna provided good steam and a short trip to Teijo National Park. Plus, fur babies are welcome! The host is friendly, flexible, and very reachable.

Cozy traditional house/cottage in a quiet location. In the yard, a good setting for barbecue and enjoyment. The sauna was also very good and the beach is nearby; the dock would be a great addition for swimming. There's a public beach nearby, though. Everything went very well with the owners.

We had a great experience in Kalle's cottage, where lovely horses and sheep live nearby, with beautiful views and near Fiskars town. The cottage has a great terrasi where you can enjoy the view of the forest and lake. Kalle's whole famly is so friendly and helpfully, we got chance to taste fresh eggs from the free-walking hens on the farm as well. And plus, we saw reindeer there twice.

House is decorated very pretty - feels like you step into a page of a magazine. House as a whole has an interesting design - it's circular, so you literally can have a feeling of "walking in circles" until you get used to it, it's nice though, almost fairy-tale like. There's plenty to read, lots of magazines and books around. The kitchen is well stacked with essentials like frying pans and such. There are pretty glass ware and teacups to enjoy tea from, basically all you need to eat in comfortably. The upstairs bedroom is pretty and spacious. Bed is comfortable and large. The bathtub and sink in the upstairs bedroom is in the bedroom area itself, pretty design. Toilet upstairs has its own section, right next to bedroom, important to notice though - there is no door between toilet area and bedroom itself. There's very good ventilation so bedroom does not retain any unpleasant scents, if you know what I mean, so it is still very convenient. The toilet section is prettily designed just like the bedroom and spacious. There's a sauna (via door from the toilet area), so if you are into that talk to Timo ahead to have it set up for you. Upstairs bedroom also has a small balcony with some pretty wines all over it, large main window. The view over the lake is spectacular, breathtaking trully. To note - you can't go down (at least to my knowledge), as the house is on a steep mountain. The downstairs 2 bedrooms are very simple, small rooms with sliding beds. The beds are comfortable, however when the second one slide out then there's only a small area to walk. It's no problem though, as they're just used for sleep. The tv section is tricky - it has a very comfy reclining chaise, but not much room for other people, so ideally there's just room for 1 person to watch tv, unless you bring in chairs from the dining area of living room. Dining area has a wonderful, huge table, very convenient, comfortable chairs and close to kitchen section. Downstairs shower room - has 2 shower heads next to each other (no partition in the middle), and then there's another sauna room. There's also washer and dryer room. Outside of house is decorated very pretty too - there are multiple sitting areas and the views are just lovely all around. There are also a row of apple trees on the driveway! Very tasty apples! Overall, great experience, good communication with the owner and very well put together place. I would rent there again if I go to Finland. Oh also, there's music system, so pretty much rainy days are no problem - there will be something to do inside. Sitting on the white couch and watching rain over lake view was a profound experience, very calming and relaxing. I highly recommend Timo's house! Thanks Timo and Anti for everything:)

The listing was exactly as described, and Janne was very friendly and helpful. Everything went smoothly, and the child especially loved the animals in the yard, and the adults appreciated the very cooling air source heat pump in the summer heat. Great location!

Janne and his wife Lea were very kind and fun. The place had everything we needed for an overnight stay. There are shops very close by so that was also very convenient. Big plus, we got to hang out with the rabbits - Puppeli and Huppeli - and the cat Pepsi 😊
