Mr. Nieves and family have always been very helpful and available, as well as very friendly and kind. The place is 2 to 3 km from the historic center, but within walking distance it is possible to reach a shopping center that has a large market, several shops and there is restaurants also in the area. The apartment is clean and very cozy, well equipped, private and is well maintained and new. A highlight is the family dogs: Lukitas and Argos, who live on the same property and are very sweet.

Staying at Paqo’s place is truly a blessing for the soul. The environment is magic and powerful and Paqo is the most gentle, caring and available person. The cabin is simple and cozy with the most stunning views on the mountains. I loved falling asleep with the sound of the river. I am leaving grounded, rejuvenated and full of life. It is difficult to leave this little paradise :)

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Calca, look no further! This is a great apartment located in the heart of town, close to the central plazas. The kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedrooms are all very nice, clean, well furnished and comfortable and the views of the mountains are beautiful. But above all else, the best reason to book this home is because JuanMa is an exceptional host that goes above and beyond to make your stay in Calca a great one. He is very responsive and helped me with everything I needed. He gave me good suggestions for restaurants and activities in and near town. He helped me find a place to eat when restaurants closed early on Labor Day. He helped me with my laundry. AND he was even kind enough to bring me soup and medicine when I got sick with the flu!!!
