Perfect getaway. The view of the lake and mountains from this place is amazing. This is a great location to do several easy/moderate hikes in the morning, and then get back for the hot tub or lake in the afternoon. I would love to come back here!

Beautiful spot and felt larger than depicted in the photos. We loved the hot tub and outdoor patio table for family dinners. The surroundings are peaceful and the place was a great location for visiting Neah Bay and Rialto Beach. Would highly recommend!

The home and surrounding area is beautiful. Plenty of room to stretch out but also warm and cosy. 10 minutes to downtown restaurants and shops. We had a small miscommunication upon check in but Diana had it sorted out within 20 minutes. Very responsive to our needs. The first morning we were treated to a small herd of deer at the front door. Great is you have small children as there is cool game room in the basement.

I cannot say enough good things about this host, nor the location. It was an incredible stay!! I booked a long weekend for a surprise proposal and I knew it would be magical the minute we checked into the Airbnb. It definitely had that wow factor everyone looks for!! Very close to port Angeles while still feeling private/remote, which is amazing. Lake dawn may not be as large as lake Sutherland, but it felt very calm and is only a 20-30 min drive from Lake Crescent which is an added bonus! Easy check in, easier check out, and Lydia is super responsive. This will become a regular stay for me any time I’m in town.

Had a great time staying here for an Olympic Peninsula weekend. The proximity to Hurricane Ridge, Lake Crescent and Mt Storm King are unbeatable, but the real highlight were the amenities. the hottub, paddle boards, kayaks, and deck overlooking the lake were all spectacular. We had a question about where to park and Belle was helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely blissful! From coffee on the deck, early morning mist hanging over the mountains and geese going about their business, to wine in the hot tub at dusk with the bats darting above our heads, we could not have asked for a better experience. Our kids loved the loft and every creature comfort was thought of and provided for. The location, mid-range to some of the most beautiful places Olympic has to offer was perfect for day trips and in retrospect, I wish we’d stayed here for our whole trip. I hope someday we have the chance to come back to this little bit of heaven. Thank you so much!

The space was very clean and well-styled. The property and location were very quiet and serene. It is close to Port Angeles conveniences but feels more secluded. There were plenty of towels and a well-stocked kitchen, and the hot tub was a plus. It served us well as a launching point into Olympic National Park.

Wonderful accommodations! We were able to fulfill a dream of visiting the Tree of Life, Cape Flattery / Neah Bay, and Rialto Beach from this rental. Conveniently located, hosts are thoughtful and accommodating, and great value for the space. Even our chihuahua was comfortable and felt welcomed. We absolutely look forward to booking again!

The morning so perfect with a clear sky view, lost in the scenic beauty of forest yet having the cozy home vibes too. The night was dark and horrific was the feeling, my mind making the fork stories come true with the thoughts of vamps around you! Haha, The best experience. A must try place. Thank-you Tracy!

The Shack is right up there with the best. Absolutely beautiful, totally private, very friendly hosts. It feels like such a privilege to share in the wonder of this excellent property. Just the right mix of camping and amenities to get the season started. We will not hesitate to return again, hopefully in the fall next time. When we got home from our trip I knew I had been right where I was supposed to be all weekend. Only regret is we couldn’t stay longer!

Great trip, lovely space. Family and dogs enjoyed the river. A bit too close to the road which was scary for dogs. Overall nice place with everything labeled.

Kiley's response time was very impressive and always provided feedback to all questions and one of the best hosts that we have dealt with. We had to relocate temporarily, and the location was so convenient and close. It was like being in a mini version of our home and it was also a plus that there was a 2nd unit onsite that we could have one of our contractors stay during our home restoration. We including our dogs felt right at home and each night we had peaceful slumber. There was also a separate laundry facility which was very convenient for us and the contractor to be able to share. All in all, a great experience and highly recommend the stay for locals and visitors. Thank you, Kiley, for sharing your peaceful retreat!

Our cabin stay was amazing! We loved waking up to beach sunrises and walking along the sand-all right outside our cabin! This home was extremely clean and was fully stocked for all of our needs. Also an amazing location if you are looking for an Olympic Nat. Park base! About 1 hour away from all of the amazing hikes and viewpoints. Harrison was kind and also left us fresh eggs from his chicken coop. Overall, our stay was amazing! Would love to come back again :).

Incredible place to stay, pictures do not do it justice. My adult kids enjoyed the lake plunge / sauna experience. The stream / waterfall in the woods next to us were added bonus - we could here the water rushing down the hill into the lake which was awesome, esp at night. This was our home base for three days of hiking in ONP. You really feel like you have this 5000 acre lake to yourselves. We got to see the lake under both windy (white cap) conditions and perfectly still. Beautiful. We took full advantage of the kayaks, sauna, and gas grill (the extra propane tank was much appreciated and needed!) The views are impossible to describe - they are incredible. The accommodations are adequate - it is a smallish place - a true vintage lake cabin. Holly is responsive and friendly. My family won't soon forget this one.

We were so elated to have booked this vacation getaway and it exceeded our expectations! This was our honeymoon destination and we felt at ease from the moment we got there until it was time to say goodbye. The views of the Oceanside were magnificent. With the combination of the comfortable beds and the sounds of ocean waves, we had no trouble sleeping. It was an added bonus that we could open up the windows a bit. There was plenty of wildlife we could see right from our porch, including bald eagles! It was so enjoyable to have a cozy cabin all to ourselves with all of the amenities included. The coffee that was available was a huge bonus (so delicious). We felt that we had all the information we needed about our cabin for a stress free visit. The location was perfect for all of our sight seeing adventures on our list. We feel so privileged to have spent 5 days in the captain’s quarters and we are eager to visit again. Thank you.

The cabin is very much a cabin—with rustic charm and access to a beautiful lake just a short walk away. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for hiking and exploring the surrounding area. One note for future guests: due to well water, it's important to use cold water in the washer to avoid clothing stains. Unfortunately, this wasn’t mentioned in the welcome booklet or posted near the washer during our stay. I’d recommend the host add a note to help prevent this for others. That said, the host was incredibly responsive and even refunded us for a stained item, which we greatly appreciated. Filtered water is also provided for drinking and cooking. Overall, a peaceful and well-situated stay—I highly recommend it!

This place is unbelievable—incredibly private, close to everything in Quinault, and incredibly kid-friendly. The owners are very thoughtful in how they equip the home — if you travel with kids, you’ll know what I mean. The owners also checked in while there and were accommodating with requests. National park views right outside your window, elk in the yard — I could go on and on. 10+ years on Airbnb and this is one of the best I’ve stayed in, if not THE best. Would love to come back, and hope to do so.

great location if visiting the Washington coast / Olympic National Park

Oh my gosh. This place was EVERYTHING. The most amazing view from an airbnb I have seen yet. A great location, super easy to find right off the highway, but still private, a hidden gem! The driveway is VERY steep, but the host left very detailed instructions and photos. We had an instance where the neighbors vehicles were blocking the driveway, but Nancy responded in minutes and immediately fixed the issue! Super responsive host, and the cabin makes you feel right at home. Anything you could possibly need, it’s there. I could not have asked for a better stay.

The residence was close to all amenities, while providing the privacy required. The place was thoughtfully done and the owner was very responsive to our questions We appreciated the cleanliness and the attention to entertainment (pool table, dart botad a d a bunch of board games and multiple TVs). Would highly recommend this place.

What a gem. We felt truly lucky to have found Cheryl’s cabin. It’s in an ideal location on Lake Crescent, walking distance to the Lodge & hiking trails. The beds were comfy, the place was clean, and shower got hot. Everything we needed. Host provided very helpful local information. Thanks Cheryl!

Great cabin! Loved the portable bathroom and firewood (although there was a fire ban). Very comfy bed and blankets. It rained and was mid-50s overnight and we were very comfortable. I would recommend bringing a few extra flashlights or headlamps for after dark.
