The cottage is the oldest house in the village, it guarded the entrance to the Abbey of the Benedictines of Etrun. The Abbey was founded in 980 and destroyed during the revolution in 1789. The whole has been listed as a Historic Monument. In 1815 Cardinal De La TOUR d'AUVERGNE decided to build his "Summer Residence" of which the surrounding walls still exist, as well as some period elements. In 1915, General Pétain made it his headquarters and commanded the Battle of Artois from these places.

The accommodation includes a bedroom of 25m2 , one of 12m2, a living room of 25m2 , a kitchen of 15m2 as well as a bathroom of 12m2. Access to the park and the private heated swimming pool is possible, as well as to the outdoor facilities (games, kitchen, BBQ, pétanque, deck chairs, etc.) Bike rides are possible (see other information )
