Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Quiché Department

My stay here was great. I made a last minute reservation- same day - and Alejo was super responsive. My only gripe are as follows: lack of wifi (but again, this was only because of a last minute reservation and it rained, so a tech could not get out to re-connect it - so I understood), Flores if the shower can be slippery (wear flip flops if feeling unsteady), and the rooms have no night stands and no closet. Otherwise, the home is great with nice views of Joyabaj. One more thing, the home is easy to find, but the road leading up to it may be difficult to manage for a simple 2WD car. If renting a car, I highly recommend 4WD - but I recommend that in general for Guatemala. With an AWD/4WD car, your experience in Guatemala will be much better. I love it here and will be happy to return. Than you Alejo - Talsirys for opening up your home.

If you travel to Chichicastenango, Adita place could be your best option for sure. She is very kind and her place is very nice and clean with 3 cabins and also a garden where you can spend your time reading with a cup of coffee or only resting…. You can walk around 10 to 15 minutes to get to the downtown where you can find the market and the historic churches they have. She recommended us a very nice restaurant called Casa San Juan that was also very good with regional food. And you have to know Gadget, her beautiful Basset Houd dog!!! We had a great time in Chichicastenango thanks to Adita

Es una casa preciosa. La cocina esta muy bien equipada, suficientes platos, copas, cubiertos, sartenes y hay elementos extras como waflera, procesador de comida. Con relación a los cuartos, muy bonitos y las camas muy cómodas. Definitivamente tienes todo para poder tener una estadía cómoda y bonita.

Jessica y su mamá son amables y hay buena comunicación con ellas. El lugar es tranquilo y limpio.

The location was close to the main road so it was easy to get out and go see the sights. The house was so spacious and fitted everyone perfectly. We loved the kitchen. It had everything we needed for our stay. And Maria was so kind and very responsive

Adita is a really nice host. I only stayed one night at her place and it was a pleasure to meet her and to chat with her a little. She is very welcoming and uncomplicated. Her dog, Gadget, is so sweet. She has a beautiful garden. It was a pleasure for me to be there.

We had an amazing stay! The property is perfect for reconnecting with nature—beautiful, serene, and surrounded by incredible scenery. The river nearby was a highlight, providing such a peaceful atmosphere. Guillermo was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. La pasamos alegre con mi familia, es una casa increíble. Llevamos a nuestro perrito y fue un lugar excelente para él. La anfitriona súper atenta, realmente nos sentimos muy cómodos! Definitivamente queremos regresar de nuevo!

Es un lugar hermoso, una casa muy acogedora con todas las comodidades, limpia, amplia, ordenada. Es como estar en tu hogar es un lugar del que uno no quiere salir, los anfitriones son excelentes personas, responden de inmediato, están al pendiente qué uno este bien y sobre todo tuvieron detalles con nosotros que agradecemos de todo corazón, mi familia del salvador quedaron encantados, regresaremos muy pronto sin duda.
