Casa Las Flores surprised us in every way. It has several rooms available and I think anyone is super good. We had all the necessary amenities. It has a very rich breakfast, which is not very common. There is a very comfortable terrace where you can spend time with friends. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They have very nice birds. We will surely return here in the future!

This is really a magical place. My favorite is at night you can hear the crickets and it's so peaceful. It's off the hippie highway so it's a bit quieter but it's still very very close to it. The bed is comfortable and the linens are clean and fresh there's a lot of space in the room so I never felt cramped. The shower is hot with good pressure. There's fresh filtered water in the room too!

Everything is very nice and tidy, a quiet place, comfortable beds.

Very cool Stonehouse tucked away on the side of town. Perfect hub for my time in Santiago. Would recommend to a friend.

The experience was very good, I really liked the place, I would just like it to be mentioned that it is a hostel and not a hotel. I was looking for a little more privacy and when you heard the person next door in and out there wasn't much. Overall the service was good and it's a place close to everything.

We loved this place. The location could not be any better; on a quiet street, right on the lake, but just one easy, flat block to the main street in town and the dock for boats to other towns. They have their own dock, down a charming path thru a garden filled with citrus trees. The dock sits by itself, with not another dock or structure within 100 yards, and with a fantastic view of the lake. Our room was basic, but large, very comfortable and with excellent A/C. Staff was VERY responsive and friendly, breakfast was yummy and the property is lovely and well-maintained. If we return to Atitlan, I will 100% book this place again. My only regret is that we did not take the time to use the pool and hot tub

We had such an amazing stay here, it’s just such a special place! Great location right next to the launcha dock and the nature reserve. The restaurant and bar on site were great, as well as the spa! Would highly recommend. Lovely staff and experience.

Truly one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed. Amazing views from your room and the pool and the staff is friendly. Love how there is a restaurant on site despite limited options but we at least didn't have to venture far for food.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The staff was incredibly responsive and attentive, making everything seamless. The location was perfect—right in the heart of San Pedro, with everything within walking distance. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore the area comfortably!

Great place to stay if you want to be up close with all the nightlife of Atitlan, very close to the boat area and a lot of good options to eat. There was a weird smell in the area but it wasn’t related to the hotel.

Aniceto was a really great host! Very responsive and let me check in early which I really appreciated! The place matches the photos and from the comments I saw prior to booking I feel like they took them into consideration! The pool area and courtyard was clean and all the staff I encountered were really helpful and kind. The room is obviously dated (which you can see from pics) but it was away from the main party area of town and the pool was lovely to relax in during the hot afternoons.

Our experience at Kula Maya was absolutely incredible! The location is beyond amazing—nestled in the heart of San Marcos, a place that truly feels magical. The views were breathtaking, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Everything about Kula Maya exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were thoughtfully designed, combining luxury and comfort with a natural, serene vibe. It’s clear that every detail has been carefully curated to create a relaxing and memorable experience. The staff was outstanding—warm, welcoming, and always ready to go the extra mile. The food was another highlight, with fresh and flavorful dishes that we’re still dreaming about. Kula Maya is a true gem, and we can’t recommend it enough. If you’re visiting, this is the perfect place to stay to experience the magic of of San Marcos!

With these kind of views, it’s very hard to leave! There are so many places to sit, relax, and have a chat with one of the residents. The rooms are rustic, yet clean you must be okay with small critters but that’s life on the lake! I stayed in the Elephant Room which is right under one of the main common rooms. I would bring ear plugs if you like to get an early (before 10pm) bed time. The food is delicious and very nourishing and the classes were outstanding. When you arrive, I’d suggest taking one of the tuc tucs up the road as it is very steep and might be difficult if you have a heavy backpack. I left the property once to have a swim in the lake but if that’s not something you want to do, then there’s really no need to leave the nest! All in all, I had a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone.

We stayed at Lush for about 4 nights. The staff at the property made us feel right at home with their attentiveness and friendliness. We were happy to discover that breakfast is included with your stay at Lush and they also offer baggage assistance which we appreciate from the public dock. I would stay at Lush again. One thing to note is that this is an eco friendly hotel. There is not an excessive amount of bugs that enter the quarter, just the occasional butterfly, or tiny bug. So, if you are traveling with someone that has an insect phobia, it's probably not a good fit. As some areas in the room are not properly sealed, and it can let the bugs and ants to get inside the home. Additionally the floor of the shower is made out of wood, and can have a slightly moldy smell linger in the room after showering. Having said that, I would definitely recommend Lush if the above stated things are not a deal breaker for you.

Everything was very nice, a very safe place, everything is super close and the area was very clean, the rest was wonderful, I would come back to stay at Casa Mama Lía with that beautiful view ❤️

Room # 8 is magical. Gorgeous lake views, large windows, modern, with chairs on the balcony if you want to enjoy outside. In the morning you are greeted by many little birds, and at night you hear their singing and the waves of the lake. I like the train whistle. The gardens are beautiful, all the hotel staff collaborate and make you feel right at home. The breakfast is exquisite and varied. They kept my bags upon arrival and on the day of departure they served me breakfast an hour before, so I could attend the Easter rituals that started early. Also the Mrs. Administradora helped me with the company of lanchas in the local language, to be picked up at the pier of the hotel. If you like to walk you can reach the center of the village in 10 minutes or take a very cheap Q10 tuktuk. It is also very safe to walk to the hotel. This hotel is wonderful, I would go back a thousand and a thousand times more.

Amazing place! The host and grounds people made us feel right at home. The views were unbeatable. I would stay here again in a heart beat.
