The space is definitely a highlight, and an absolute recommendation. In fact, our stay (3 nights) exceeded our expectations. If you want to experience the area authentically, you should definitely come to Yen Duc, and enjoy the hospitality there. The place is beautiful, idyllic and quiet, and can be explored for free by bike. Na is a wonderful hostess who took care of us attentively, professionally and warmly. Thanks to their openness and very good English, we were able to learn a lot about the culture and get to know them even in the context of various activities that are offered as an option (including fishing, rice processing, village tour). From Vietnamese donuts we made with Na and other villagers to visiting the market or a local family - we always felt very welcome and perfectly cared for by Na. THANKS - also for the delicious food!

Viet was very nice and chill host! The accomodation was clean and airy and we slept well~ The swimming is clean and beautiful! definitely recommend! the island is small and very good for you to turn off and relax~ Viet also helped us with trip to Halong Bay, which can be arranged frm port 10 minutes from the airbnb. The villa is huge and good for group travelling. The host was very friendly and warming welcome us. You can ask him for supplying coal to do BBQ at night. We enjoy our stay very much and strongly recommended this place

Nice clean room, modern design is very tasteful. Beautiful sea view, large and airy room. The host is very psychological, knowing we are late to turn on the air conditioner. On the first floor is a very good burger place. About 10p -15p walk away is Ms. Nghi yoghurt shop, famous bun mango Ba Tu noodle soup. Around many beautiful cafes, sea view. Many noodle shops and porridge I have not had time to enjoy because I love to sew the restaurant you reviewed first

Arriving at Deja Vu House was really easy. When we got there the staff was really kind and allowed us to check-in earlier than the time uh the listing. The room is not big, but it is cozy, clean and comfortable. Maybe a bigger working space would be great. The meals at breakfast were really tasty. Furthermore, we were able to order drinks all day long and they are really tasty as well. Perhaps an improvement area could be the snacks but not a big deal. We were planing to stay there for 5 days but due to several things that we needed to handle in Ha Long we stayed 7 days instead. The view from the rooftop is really amazing during sunset. The place is outstandingly located close to the water, but be mindful that is not a beach. However, running early in the morning feels really good there. Another improvement area could be the internet because we were disconnected a couple of times while working but not for too much. The staff at the hotel allowed us to dry our clothes in the rooftop and the weather allow them dry quickly. We highly recommend this place for short and longer stays. If you are looking for adventures, the hotel also has contact with tours, so you don’t have to worry to pay externally, the hotel will handle everything and you will pay it at checkout. That’s great! Another amazing perk is that you can use bikes for free! Just let them know that you want to use one and they will give you a bike! You can also ask for a taxi at the front desk if you like. If you are considering this option to stay don’t think twice, you won’t regret it! The staff is super kind, professional and friendly. Definitely we are going to stay there again when we come back to Ha Long! Thank you everyone for everything that you did for us during our stay!

A lovely homestay in a quieter, residential area of Cat Ba. The host was absolutely brilliant and very friendly, she helped us with transport and recommended where to explore in Cat Ba. The house itself is wonderful but the highlight has to be the food! We opted for the Seafood BBQ and it was incredible - would definitely recommend!

Without a doubt, one of our best experiences in airbnb.. they claim to be a homestay but, if in anyway possible, they should just say 'home'.. Tam is a home maker in the true sense of the word.. Not just for her family but also us who went there as guests.. From the travel plans to the everyday meals to the home scooter( given for free) and so much more ( the 'home wine' is a great touch that makes you feel at home)...the breakfast was wonderful, will all my food intolerances taken care of. Tam, Quyen and An..made us their family and we are truly grateful to them... An absolute must for the hospitality...

I am so grateful to have met such a wonderful family in Vietnam. The meals prepared by Tam were filled with warmth and brought great comfort to my heart. Every day spent with your family allowed me to eat well, rest well, and feel truly at ease. The unforgettable Lan Ha Bay tour, exploring Cat Ba National Park with An, the cooking class with Tam, and the care of Mama, who came every day to help daughter—all these moments will remain cherished in my memory for a long time. I sincerely hope to meet you again and watch An grow up. Staying in your home brought me immense happiness. I look forward to seeing you again someday.

Hien’s place was located nearby the bay which was really great. The driver which was arranged by the host was perfect, as we were transferred to the place directly, hence no trouble in locating the place at all. Breakfast was simple and amazing, and the place was really nice. We joined the dinner with the hosts’ family for both nights and we got to know some new friends and also tried the local home cooked food. There are also trips to other islands or transfers to other places which all can be arranged through the host and is very flexible in terms of any changes as well. Overall, I would recommend anyone to stay at this place for a completely safe and amazing experience.

Hien's house was a nice place. She's very friendly and helpful. She took us around to see the city, market then cooked. We had a wonderful time at her house. If you come to HaLong bay, it is a place for you. We definitely come back.

I enjoyed my stay here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Walkable distance to many stores and restaurants. I would stay here again if I come back to Cat Ba.
