The little blue house is exactly what one needs. Has a working kitchen, quiet, and best of all the beach is right there. It was nice to have a peaceful place to return to after busy excursions into the cities or whatever else. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely visit again

Absolutely loved the peaceful, private location of this Airbnb! Bernd was very communicative and left detailed instruction of what’s around the area to what was available to use at the house. We had an incredible stay at this beautiful place! It was walking distance to everything in Nosara, including the beach, shops and restaurants. We especially appreciated the easy distance to carry our surf boards to the beach. It was lovely to swim and lounge by the pool in the hot afternoons. The three separate buildings gave plenty of privacy for three couples. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking and there was a lovely covered outdoor dining space. We would recommend staying here to everyone and would love to come back someday!

Great remote location for epic surf. Airbnb is modern, well stocked, and you can’t beat being steps from Marbella.

what a lovely time here at Casas Pelicanos. we stayed here for 3 days and wish we stayed a bit longer! Sibylle was very friendly, welcoming and overall so pleasant. everything was clean and accessible. loved the outdoor patio, hammock, garden, pool and walkable access to the beach would recommend this place to everyone! need 4x4 for safety reasons, roads are dirt, rock and when raining pot holes filled with water we cooked meals here and then ate at many local restaurants, favorites: Sabor De Mi Tierra & El Fogon de Dona Luisa. local supermarket Junquillal for basic stuff, I recommend stopping at a bigger supermarket on the way from outside towns recommended to stop at Playa Grande, Playa Negra (both have parking with security guard you pay cash colones 2000). playa Negra had monkeys, variety of birds and squirrels. playa grande was by far my favorite- you could walk for ever, take photos on the rocks and of all the shells! just heads up this is Costa Rica, there are bugs everywhere

My absolute favorite place to stay in Samara! This place is such a gem! Hats off to the amazing humans who work there, the pristine rooms are so well equipped, the location is perfect, and to the beautiful private pool (love the water feature!) which we floated for hours! What an Oasis! Can’t wait to come back!!

Our best stay in Costa Rica and we wish we could stay longer! Federica and Roberto have created a great space to relax on in such an exciting town. The yoga is good for all levels and is every morning. It’s a close walk to the beach and right next to plenty of restaurants all while being nicely secluded. The pools is very refreshing and private with only 4 total units on the property. Can’t wait to go back

Staying at Rancho De Linda was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the lush Costa Rican jungle on the beach, it offers the perfect blend of natural charm to fully immerse yourself in the local ecosystem. The property is surrounded by vibrant wildlife — from colorful frogs, friendly iguanas, beautiful butterfly’s, hermit crabs and chirping birds. The views are breathtaking and the sounds of the ocean are mesmerizing — making it a true ecological retreat. Douglas and Irena were delightful hosts. We enjoyed visits from their sweet pup Bambi and loved the availability of the housekeeper. The place is very clean and well taken care of. We loved our Yoga class Irena taught under the palapa and enjoyed the delicious cooking of two local chefs. We drove into Tamarindo for the day and visited the Diamanté Eco Adventure Park for a thrilling zip line. El lugar cumplió nuestras expectativas , tuvimos la oportunidad de ir caminando a la playa por lo cerca que queda. El acceso fué fácil y hay comercios (restaurantes , coffee shops , supermercados, etc) bastante cerca. Mi esposo y yo la pasamos excelente ! Gracias a ambos por la atención y pronta respuesta.

Being able to wake up, sit outside in the cool breeze, watch the sun rise and listen to the Howler monkeys and wildlife wake up every morning is an absolutely beautiful and peaceful experience. In addition to hearing the ocean waves crashing against the shore. This place was the best part of our trip! Oh and the beds were so comfortable that was worth its weight in gold! This was an amazing location!

Highly recommend! Great location, spacious studio that had everything you need and the host was very responsive and helpful.

Nice place and great team who work there. Good breakfast options. Close to the ocean and markets/cafes. That's why I left a 5-star. But I want to draw the owner's attention to the insect problem - every night, there were a few giant flying cucarachas, ants, and a bunch of other flying animals. I understand its Costa Rica (I've lived here for two years), kept the doors closed, but insects still go inside in numbers. The bathroom has a foam plastic block instead of a window. Rooms are dark (but at least chill temperature).

Place is nice, cozy and as described. It's located in a beautiful property surrounded by nature. It's peaceful and the best part is the beach just steps away. We experienced some unplanned inconveniences out of our control but the host did his best to help us with everything.

This is literally staying ON the beach in a casual, tranquil, local Tico neighborhood. If you love the beach and can imagine the convenience of having your house along with you as you enjoy the beach, then you’re likely to love this stay. You know what the tide is doing because you hear it and see it from the house 24/7. The peaceful sounds of the surf, rain and wildlife were our favorite part! Thanks!

as a lot of the reviews stated. the dogs can be a bit loud but not loud enough to not have a great time. the cats that hung out on the porch absolutely made the trip and I'm not even a real cat guy

excelente depto con todo lo basico que uno necesita, estacionamiento, la lavadora es muy buena. la ubicación es inmejorable vas caminando a la playa, y a comer. llegamos para semana santa estaba todo explotado de gente y tener el auto seguro y estar tan cerca de todo nos ayudo mucho. lo recomiendo y claro que volveria. Jorge fue muy coordial y respondia mis mensajes siempre.

We really enjoyed our stay! Jose was very responsive and always kind and helpful. The house is in a great spot and is great for relaxing on the porch after a long day. Perfect for enjoying Samara and the surrounding area.

Perfect! Really clean place, very responsive host. Even offered to do our laundry which was helpful. Right next to beach and easy parking.
