There was breathtaking views of the mountains and the Toa River. I went horseback riding and snorkeling in the clear water. The local people were so friendly to me and easygoing. My favorite was the nearby waterfall up the road.

De host, Carlos is een geweldig vriendelijke man. Wij hadden 2 dagen geboekt en wilde graag nog een nacht blijven. Het koste ons eerst even moeite om het juiste adres te vinden maar het was het absoluut allemaal waard, wat een waanzinnige plek. Carlos en zijn familie en alle dieren die er vrij rondlopen, je waant je als een god in Frankrijk. Eten werd geregeld, je hoeft nergens aan te denken, Carlos regelt alles. Ook met ons naar Baracoa gereden voor Bezine, dit kregen wij onderweg niet bij het benzinestation en hij heeft dit voor ons geregeld. De weg van Holguín naar Maguana is echt op heel veel stukken erg slecht te bereiden, maar het was het waard als je eenmaal daar bent. Carlos en familie, bedankt!

El alojamiento es muy bonito, esta bien ubicado en una zona tranquila, muy comodo y limpio, lo recomiendo, la comida en especial esta muy rico, la mama de Milena cocina muy bien!!!

Erholung pur. Casa Toa ist ein traumhafter, ruhiger Ort mitten in der Natur, direkt am Rio Toa gelegen. Die Anlage ist wunderschön, gut in die Natur integriert und gut gepflegt. Hinzu kommt ein sehr freundliches und immer bemühtes Team. Man empfindet auch eine sehr harmonische Stimmung Innerhalb des Teams. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und herzlich empfangen gefühlt.

We were very well taken care of at Hildiovis’s place:) The cabin is located at the back of the main house and is intimate and private. We enjoyed the hammack and going to the beach. Also, went to Humbolt national park, which was great! Our hostess was always ready and there to offer home cooked meals. Good spot to discover Maguana beach and the national park.

Ariel and staff were exceptionally helpful, welcoming and kind to our large group staying at Casa Toa. The location is stunning, the food was fantastic and we were made to feel very much at home. this is a great location for a group program, a personal retreat or a family event. We will be back!

Hele mooie plek aan de rivier. waren de enige gasten en ze deden alles voor ons. Midden in de natuur en door de stroomuitval tussendoor extra avontuurlijk!
