The Refugio, a modern loft design with rustic details, was built in 2022 (by your hosts!) . It has 1 queen bed & a trundle bed (2 single beds/cama nido) in the living space below. The cabin is heated by a wood stove, has excellent insulation, a full kitchen, beautiful mountain views and reliable Starlink wifi to work remotely.

The place is the same as in the photos. It's clean, tidy, and organized. When you arrive, you are given a bracelet that gives you access to discounts on tours, bike rentals, bar, among others. Daniel contacted me as soon as I booked, giving me transportation directions to get to Puerto Tranquilo. The place is very comfortable and cute.

Maria is super friendly, answers directly and personally shows you all the important things in the house that are important to you and how they work (washing machine, kitchen utensils, coffee, etc.). You really feel at home. You have your own private room and can still have tea together in the kitchen with a nice chat! (With a very cuddly old cat)

From the first moment, this place exceeded our expectations. Communication with the host was quick and friendly, making sure everything was ready for our arrival. The house was spotless and every detail designed for guests' comfort. The decor was beautiful and cozy, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect: close to Lake Bertrand, confluence of the Baker and Neff rivers, which made our stay even more convenient. In addition, the beds were comfortable, clean towels, and the small details (as always the stoves with their wood, local recommendations) made a difference. Every meal was a delight: from breakfasts full of details and homemade bread to dinners with freshly harvested vegetables. You can see the care and dedication in every detail. We would definitely come back without hesitation. 100% recommended for those looking for a perfect stay!

Sandra was so friendly and thorough! Her rentals are equipped with everything you need (hot water, comfy bed, hair dryer, etc) and her gate makes it very secure in the town. She was our savior the day we arrived; when we realized we didn’t have a tour reservation she immediately gave us the phone number of some guides and we were able to book within an hour! Her prepared breakfast was also so great for our early morning. Can’t wait to be back.
