Great place with amazing austere look. Place is located about 10kms from white town, away from all the hustle and bustle. Marc is always a call away and Sughanthi akka is a life saver

Full marks to the owners and staff -- I have nothing but praise to share. Check-in was seamless; the premises were spotless; the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with big windows and vistas of a large, beautiful garden buzzing with birdsong. At night you are lulled to sleep by chirping insects. There's a mini-library in the hall, and the staff are highly courteous. This is the kind of home you dream of retiring in, honestly. One drawback--not specific to this accommodation, but to Auroville as a whole--is the lack of autos or other public transportation. However, the owner kindly arranged for an auto to take me to Pondicherry on my last morning here. Apparently, there's also a place nearby where you can rent cycles to get around Auroville. I highly recommend that you choose this place for your stay in Auroville.

Best home stay in pondicherry. Utensils and kitchen accessories available for self cooking by guest. Requesting to place Gas stove for families outing. Swimming pool is good and sufficient for 8 guests to chill up. 5 star rating from us.

Prasath is a great host. He is responsive and provided recommendations around the city. he was super helpful. he allowed early check-in for us. definitely recommend the place. Thank you for hosting us. Also the property is very near to rock beach and the market area, so many restaurants are at walkable distance.

This is it! Wonderful place!

My family had a wonderful time and tantofar team accommodated our request even though they were double booked and gave another room on similar lines of the booking. My kids loved it and all of us loved the beach, which is what we were looking forward to. The rooms are cozy, we were in AC cottage for 3 nights and 1 night in the challet. The cottage has a lawn in the front perfect for my toddler,the later has spectacular views of sunrise but only for nature lovers as you wake up to birds like Myhna, sparrows, crows and others, squirrel and other animals frequent by as it's more like a tree house and you should only choose this if you love animals and have lived close to nature.

Very peaceful stay. Not your standard resort / hotel experience as they very clearely stated. Beach is pristine. Worth for anyone who wants a little breather from the fast city life.

The stay feels like a different world altogether. With pristine surroundings and aesthetic furniture, waking up here during my stay was a feeling I’d never forget.

Comfortable place right near the beach and all attractions. Everything is within walking distance. The place itself is clean and provides all amenities mentioned. The cafe has good food available all day. The local recommendations are also worthwhile.

It’s a beach front property and just few meters walk to the beach front. It’s a value for money, had been there with 6 of my friends and we had a good time overall.

This is by far one of the most memorable and beautiful stays I have had with Airbnb and I have had a few, the thing that differenciates this place is its people, they are so helpful and they make sure you have a comfortable stay they attend to all the queries and go out of the way to help you. The food specially the breakfast spread is superb not to be missed. Lastly the property is well maintained and in the heart of French town being a 200 year old French Villa it has a charm and my partner and me thoroughly enjoyed our stay a big shoutout to the management for allowing us to experience the property and the hospitality.

Our stay was fantastic! Maison Twenty-Six is a beautifully renovated 150 year-old house with exquisitely designed rooms that show great attention to detail. The staff was very attentive but never overbearing, and the garden was lovely. Everything was super clean. The location was perfect—right in the center of White Town, close to amazing restaurants, shops, and landmarks, yet incredibly peaceful. Highly recommend for an unforgettable experience.
