Blue Agave: Art-Filled Adobe w/ Outdoor Fireplace

AngelaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This home was as described and beautiful. The only complaint I have was because of my own oversight. We brought our dogs and kids and I didn't pay attention to the beautiful landscaping in the pictures...all cactus. Not a huge deal, just had to be a little more cognizant. There was a small ant problem because one of the kids left a drop of dinner next to the stove after cleanup. When I noticed in the morning, I cleaned up the food and kitchen towel and they never showed again. They do warn about goat head stickers in the yard. If you're bringing pets, make sure you pay attention, ours picked up a couple, but we knew ahead of time and it's not a real issue. There is a lot of room and the place is beautiful and welcoming.

Marfa Gaze - Desert Adobe with Stock Tank Pool

BenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I really enjoyed staying here. This was a great base camp in between events for Agave Marfa. I don’t think I’d change anything about it! The AC worked great. I mostly went out to eat but the full size kitchen would have been perfectly sufficient. The beds were comfortable. The cowboy pool is a nice break in the TX sun. The ideal group would be 3-4 people but 5 is possible.

Fieldhouse 7 at High Frontier

DerrikRating, 5 stars3 months ago
The High Frontier might just be the most beautiful area in Texas. Surrounded by the Davis Mountains with hundreds mile views, this is the perfect area to relax and unplug. The rooms were very well appointed with modern furnishings, really comfortable beds and everything you could need in the kitchen. There are multiple “modern cabins” but they’re spread far enough from each other that you’ll still feel complete privacy . I could see this as a perfect setting for groups like weddings, family reunions, retreats, etc. My family will DEFINITELY be back and we can’t wait to tell all of our friends about it. Thanks Maggie and High Frontier crew!

The Love House at Corte del Norte

SarahRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Great place to stay in Marfa! Close to everything and walkable. The place was beautiful and decorated great- very comfortable space! Only thing to note is the WiFi is extremely spotty, which the hosts mentions, but if you are looking for good WiFi this might not be the place for you. That being said, its great to disconnect for a bit!

Studio 1 at High Frontier

RoxieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The studio at High Frontier definitely met our expectations. We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy the majestic scenery of far west Texas. The view out the back windows or sitting on the back patio of the studio was beautiful and peaceful looking out over the rustic mountains in the background! The inside space was very comfortable and had thoughtful amenities - comfortable bed, luxury bath products and linens, and delicious Lavazza coffee. The property is being further developed to be what is sure to be a coveted destination for a variety of travelers' needs! The staff were quick to respond to our questions/needs.

Marfa Desert High - relaxing adobe - private yard!

JenniferRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I can’t say enough positive things about Susanna’s listing. It was so clean, so comfy, and it made us feel instantly at home and at ease after a long, blistering hot drive to Marfa! Not only is it close to excellent restaurants, but it’s also convenient for walking to other shops convenient to the main strip. It’s a small thing, but I also appreciated how the home was filled with real things, as opposed to odd nicknacks/recycled items I’ve noticed in other airbnbs. Staying here made our first trip to Marfa positively memorable!

Luxury Home Near Marfa and McDonald Observatory

KerryRating, 5 stars2 months ago
David’s space was so bright and welcoming. Generously sized bedrooms and common rooms, tastefully decorated with a nod to the region, all of the amenities, with small personal touches like homemade granola and fresh milk in fridge when we arrived. David was excellent at communicating. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

El Ocotillo: Convenient & Stylish Stargazing Spot

RyanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay in Fort Davis was perfect because we chose to stay here! We were on a road trip and the host was very flexible in letting us check in early since we were making better timing on our trip. The home had lovely personal touches and decorations. It was just a few minute walk from the Main Street with shops and restaurants, and a less than 5 minute drive to the historic fort and ice cream caboose. We went to the Star Party at the McDonald Observatory late at night, which was a scenic 20 minute drive. We would definitely stay again!

Highland House ~ Prime Location

The spot is a perfect distance from everything. You can walk about 10 minutes and make it to either the local restaurants, galleries, & shops or the gas station which is open 24/7. The spot has ample room, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a nice backyard which is great to lounge around in the shade. The kitchen has a gas range which we enjoyed making breakfast out of as well as a table you can sit at for 6 people. Overall a great experience staying here! Checkout “Para Llevar” restaurant, yummy pizza!

Marfa Hill House

LesleyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I feel more at home here than at my own house. This property is a sanctuary. Surrounded by nature, unique art everywhere you look, balcony overlooking the entire town, the comfiest bedding, walkable to anywhere you need to go in Marfa -- I could really go on and on. But words don't even do this place justice - it's truly something that must be experienced. My family and I booked both of the houses on Robert's property (the hill house and the canteen) and being able to enjoy the entirety of the grounds and different hang out areas was incredible. Although located off the main road, we still felt secluded and like we had plenty of privacy! 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing a peaceful getaway. My family is in love with this property. I don't think we will stay anywhere else in Marfa. I can't wait to go back.

We could tell the house was super clean as soon as we walked in. It looked even better than the photos! We did have the power go out due to a bird messing up the transformer 😅, but Carolina responded quickly and notified the city to get it fixed in a timely manner! We will defintley be staying here again when visiting our family!

My wife, 4 kids, and I absolutely loved our stay here! Marfa isn't all that big, so everything is drivable within a few minutes, or walkable in probably < 10. The house has great, vibey furniture, is well-decorated, and makes you feel right at home in Marfa.

Another great stay in Marfa! Earth House was cozy and comfy, close to everything and had a great record collection. 😉 The team at Trans Pecos Realty was top notch, proactive and super friendly. They responded to any issue or request promptly and kindly. It’s so refreshing to be treated like a neighbor when visiting another city. It really makes all the difference.

Hermosa Container Home: 1st Floor

DarjaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
10/10! Loved staying here. Super cute, lots of natural light and a comfortable bed. Loved the kitchen and the multiple balconies, too. Christina was very responsive. The only thing is that if you care about being in a really icy cold low temp space this may not be for you as the AC didn’t fully cool the whole place (in May) but it didn’t affect our trip. It gets cold enough at night where the smaller ac units + open window were enough. If you go in early Spring or Fall it’s probably perfect with only windows cracked.
A cozy bedroom features a wooden bed with a decorative quilt and matching pillows. Natural light enters through a window, enhancing the space. A bedside table with a lamp and a wooden dresser add functionality, while a patterned rug complements the warm wooden flooring.

Point of Rocks Ranch HQ

DaphneRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had such a quick trip to Ft. Davis and unfortunately only had one night at Roy's place...but we loved it. The house had gorgeous hardwood floors, way more beds than we needed, lots of circles in the house (my favorite!), and room to wander. My husband and I set an alarm to get up and look at the stars--and Roy's place offered the perfect amount of secluded darkness to see ALL the stars and the Milky Way too. Looking forward to staying again!
