The lake is about a 10-minute walk from the cottage. Perfect for a quiet vacation. There are only two other cottages in the area and our house with apartments. You can use the playground, fireplace, outdoor seating, barbecue on the terrace. The cottage is fully equipped, bedroom with two double beds, fireplace, bathroom with shower, equipped kitchen, seating on the terrace.

You can park your vehicles in the parking lot. A lockable bike room will be available. In the autumn months, local forests often prepare mushroom harvests. You can stretch your body on a nearby ski slope in Hochficht, Austria.

In summer, ideal for cycling , swimming Vltava, Lipno, mushroom picking. In the accommodation there is a possibility of cooking, 100 m pub U Němečků with dining. We don't provide linens and towels for short-term stays of up to three days

Simulate

A place for meditation, a place where you can only hear the forest, the sound of birds, breathe fresh air, when it's beautiful you swing in a hammock between the trees, when it rains you can relax inside. You can book at least 2 consecutive nights. There is no shower in the Observatory, just a kettle and a basin with clean water to rinse, or you can use the pond by the sauna:-) Therefore, consider the length of your stay. You will walk 200 m through the forest to the Observatory, so a wheeled suitcase is not a good idea for luggage:-)

You can light a fire in the tiled stove and relax on the heated bed, or go on trips around the cottage. The cottage is located in one of the most beautiful corners of Šumava. The stone house is over 150 years old and is furnished with historical furniture. It is located in a picturesque village with no car traffic, in the Blanský les Protected Landscape Area. The surrounding pristine nature invites peaceful walks. In our orchard, two horses graze, and in the herb garden, you can pick mint and lemon balm to brew tea. For breakfast, you can taste our homemade cheese, seasonal vegetables, and homemade bread from our neighbor. The apartment was renovated in July 2024.
