On property we have a canoe and kayaks for rent, corn-hole & a 122’ fishing pier. Coffee and bathroom items are provided. There is a clubhouse & 5 other cabins for rent on the property if you are looking for a special occasion destination at The Chrestos - Cottages on the Cove. The home is fully stocked so all you need is clothing and food.

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This tree house is sitting on stilts among trees where a beautiful oak tree comes through the elevated outside dining patio area. The tree house is located on our 15 acres of wooded property with approx. 1 mile in walking trails in the woods on the property for exploring and observing wildlife. Our guests frequently notice our deer and other woodland creatures who share this space with us.

Set on half an acre just steps away from Cedar Creek Reservoir and a short drive from the DFW area, this rental is ideal for a couples getaway, or as a family retreat. Our place is perfect for kayaking and relaxing with your pup..We have a great deck, fenced yard, dog door and plenty of Dolly Parton decor! In the winter months, there is a beautiful fire pit overlooking the water. 2 bedrooms with queen beds and a twin pull-out couch in the master. 1 bathroom with a brand new shower.
