Vacation rentals in Porto di Sciacca

Serafina is a wonderful host. The apartment is lovely and clean. It’s near enough to town that you can be in centro in a few minutes by car, but removed enough for a peaceful retreat. We had quick access by roadway to Spiaggia Capo San Marco, a breathtakingly beautiful nearby beach. Serafina greeted us with a gift basket and made us feel incredibly welcome after a long drive. When we checked out she brought our daughter an Easter basket of goodies and gave us a bottle of spumanti. I wish we could’ve stayed longer, she just made us feel so welcome. Also she was very patient about my poor Italian! I look forward to returning someday.

A carefully restored house with lots of history and character. The kitchen is brilliant and very well equipped for making meals. The large lounge and dining room was very comfortable and cosy. The sun terrace is the icing on the cake: a comfortable place to soak up the sun whilst looking out over the city and the sea. We loved being able to walk out of the house into the winding and charming alley ways of the old part of town, and to be also right next to a big piazza with all the shops you need - cafes, restaurants, grocery shops. Parking our hire car was no problem. Jan gave us good instructions on everything we needed.

Super positive experience, Angelo is very kind and always available to give you lots of tips on what to visit or where to dine. Upon our arrival, in addition to everything that was described in the article, he also provided us with fruit, juices, milk and coffee for breakfast. We were very happy and satisfied with everything from the house to the place, perfect location for visiting various beaches and beautiful places. We sincerely thank Angelo for the beautiful experience he gave us.

We selected this place so we could drive to the Valley of the temples and I later realized that the beach was within 15 minutes for a two night stay. This is a very good location with a pharmacy, coffee shop, restaurants and stores at walking distance. You can also walk to the main plaza and there is a sea view in this beautiful small town. At the time of our stay there was a city pipe breakage so we had to be careful with the amount of water consumed. We did not do laundry because of this. However Vincenzo was very responsive and made sure to provide us with additional water supply when reserve ran low. Thank you Vincenzo for the small gift at arrival, and to make sure we did not leave without trying the Sicilian pastries.

We loved this place in Sciacca. The flat was beautiful and comfortable. Everything was as listed and we had a great time exploring this part of Sicily. Best parts: very accessible to historic and social parts of Sciacca; loved the bar down the street called GRAN CAFFE NUOVA EPOCA!; easy parking; perfect size kitchen for cooking meals (although I would have liked a bit more supplies to cook-a wok is not good enough); lovely outdoor area; friendly neighbours. A bit tricky: there's no food market really nearby - we found a fruit and veg dealer but the supermarkets were further; there's quite a bit of noise from the streets late at night and especially early in the morning when the garbage and recycling is collected. Can I just point out that there is no WiFi. I would have paid £5 more per night for WiFi. This beautiful old building is very hard to get mobile signal in. But all in all I would happily stay at this flat again. Thank you Gabriella.

Martina and her father welcomed us to their accommodation above the Sciacca marina. The view is breathtaking from the balcony running along the apartment. Everything in the atmosphere evokes Italy in the 70s, authentic. The apartment is not for the least very comfortable with all the necessary amenities, from the kitchen to the bathroom. We only spent one night but we could have stayed a whole week with everything you need for everyday life. Martina and her father are super warm, and gave us great tips for choosing a restaurant in the neighborhood. The apartment is literally next to the beautiful Basilica of Sciacca, and it is possible to have coffee in a typical Sicilian atmosphere upon waking. We were there in early May, and we loved the authenticity of the place, less touristy than other flagship destinations in Sicily.
