Yuting is a great host. Her place is truly one of the best homes I’ve been to with all the things you need for a pleasant stay. It is located in a beautiful and calm neighborhood. This is a lovely bungalow in a great neighborhood close to all Portland has to offer! The house is comfortable, clean, well stocked and we loved hanging on the front porch in the sunshine. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom’s had nice showers. We weren’t made aware there is a tenant in the basement unit until we received check in info the day before. Host was responsive to my concerns about thinking we had a rented an entire house to ourselves (apparently all Airbnbs in Oregon must have a resident living on the property? This was news to me, but maybe not to future renters). I think they could have done more to ensure we knew someone else was on the property (there are no shared utilities or doors, but we could hear the person downstairs at bedtime, and we were concerned our family with small kids would be audible to them as well). Again it’s a great house, I just wish we had known someone was under us when we chose it.

We had a wonderful time at Kathryn's home! It was the ideal location for our plans, a quiet neighborhood with groceries and food options very close by. Our kids had a perfect day using the pool, and all the necessary amenities. Kathryn was very responsive and friendly. We're so excited to stay again!

There was easily enough space for our large group. The kitchen was well stocked, there were multiple showers and toilets, there was plentiful seating and eating surfaces, and the pool was in pristine condition. Things to bring to the attention of future guests (and this is also explicitly stated in the listing): there is no A/C, no TV, and no microwave. Our family had an amazing time here. Highly recommended.

A very nice house in a beautiful setting. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Our family enjoyed the peaceful deck, the sauna and the swim spa. The open living area made it very easy for our family to enjoy our time together. We would stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing home to stay in while in Portland.
