Old Town Lake Retreat-4WD access only when rainy
Take it easy at this secluded, waterfront cabin near beautiful Magnolia Beach. Fish or launch kayaks from your front yard. This rustic property is located down a dirt road that can be very difficult to access when it rains a lot. 4x4 vehicles recommend. During dry times, the road is fine. Wildlife of all kinds are sometimes seen, many species of birds, bobcat, deer, and sometimes snakes. Alligators live in Old Town Lake, much like any body of water in South Texas. Swimming not recommended.

Fish the bay out front or lake in the back. Just a few yards away, the Indianola Courthouse monument and Cistern monument are remainders of the catastrophic hurricanes of historic Indianola.
