C’est un lieu qui respire la sérénité, la chaleur humaine et la bienveillance. On s’y sent immédiatement chez soi, comme enveloppé dans une bulle de douceur et d’harmonie. Un immense merci à Valérie, notre hôte extraordinaire, d’une gentillesse rare, toujours à l’écoute et aux petits soins. Sa bienveillance sincère et son attention portée à chaque détail rendent le séjour encore plus précieux. On ressent dans chaque recoin de la maison la beauté de son âme. le gite est très confortable et bien équipé , il ne manque rien et il se situe dans un endroit calme et sympa . je vous le recommande , Ingrid est une hôte accueillante et réactive

We LOVED our stay in Sommervieu. The house was simply idyllic, surrounded by flowers and with a nearby (but not too close!) field of friendly cows wandering by. The house itself was very quiet, comfortable, and fully equipped, with everything one would need in the kitchen, loads of books and games, and firewood for a roaring fire. We didn’t use the bikes or outdoor seating because the weather didn’t cooperate, but would love to come back and try them someday. Sophie and François were super attentive, offering local suggestions and also pointers for when we moved on to Paris, suggesting a restaurant in Paris where we later had a delicious lunch! Thank you so much for hosting us, we hope to come back!

This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

3eme fois dans ce lieu et par n'importe quel temps et n'importe quelle période de l'année, le charme opere toujours.nous nous y sentons tout simplement bien tant cest paisible.Le gite est super bien équipé et les enfants adorent les jeux, le jardin, Fernand l'âne etc... Bref nous espérons simplement revenir une 4eme fois :-)

What a perfect stay we have had, truely outstanding. The cottage was so pretty, clean and beautifully furnished. The location was excellent for exploring the vast history and beautiful Normandy countryside. Rodolphe and his family were extremely welcoming, friendly and on hand to offer any help or recommendations. We really enjoyed every minute and would love to return next year. Highly recommend. Maison particulièrement bien équipée (cuisine, jardin), les enfants se sont fait plaisir avec la balançoire et la borne d'arcade. Elle est de plus très bien située, au calme et à proximité immédiate d'Omaha Beach. La supérette à quelques minutes à pieds permet de faire des courses d'appoint. We were 2 couples staying at Simon’s house and there was plenty of room for us all including a separate bathroom per couple . The best feature by far was the stunning view from the front room which faced the sea and Omaha beach. The upstairs bedrooms also had large windows offering the same view. The house had everything in that you needed and the kitchen was modern . Its location was fantastic for experiencing/visiting memorials and museums . A small amount of restaurants in walking distance and the area felt very safe . Off street parking for our cars . We had a lovely 3 nights here

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

Romain Et Céline's AirBnb was a lovely little retreat in Caen. You can reach it from the train station with a 30 minute walk or you can take the tram which gets you there in about 10-15 minutes. The location is in the center of the city. It is a five minute walk to several restaurants for dinner and you are never further than 20-25 minutes walk from most of the popular tourist sites. The listing itself had all the promised amenities. There was not much sound at night so we all slept well. Three of us comfortably used the space. The internet was also able to handle all of us using it at the same time. The shower also had good water pressure and hot water. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the check-out instructions were quite reasonable. Romain messaged to ask how our stay was going was quick to respond whenever I had questions. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent this AirBnb again.

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

Nous recommandons ce logement: cosy, propre et bien rangé, de la place pour les affaires, bien situé,… Tout est fait pour se sentir chez soi mais en mieux. Il y a même une jolie cheminée électrique. Nous reviendrons et avons hâte de séjourner de nouveau au Chalet d’été. Nous remercions Magda pour sa réactivité et sa communication fluide et conviviale (et bravo pour la propreté!).

Cozy unique apartment with beautiful view to an old church. It is also in a beautiful shopping street with pubs and restaurants. The aparment itself has everything you need, and you get alot of value for your money. The owner answers quick and with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again!

The property is amazing - beautifully decorated, comfortable and in the historical heart of Caen. At the same time its quiet and private. We loved it! Marie is an amazing host - warm, very responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

Très bon séjour dans une villa magnifique qui correspond exactement au descriptif. Le plus la piscine couverte et chauffée, un jardin agréable et des activités pour tous. Les hôtes sont très sympas et très accueillants. on recommande vivement cette belle villa pour des réunions de famille ou entre amis.

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end ! Le logement est conforme aux photos et à la description. La vue mer est vraiment très agréable, on ne s’en lasse pas :) Tout est pensé pour que nous nous sentons comme à la maison ! Une jolie décoration avec beaucoup de goût. Les lits sont confortables, la cuisine très bien équipée & tout est très propre ✨ Virginie est agréable, réactive & arrangeante. Nous avons passé un super week-end chez Ludo. La maison est superbe, les équipements top et Ludo est très accueillant et réactif. On le remercie vraiment pour le bon moment passé chez lui !
