"Wow! Our stay at Jaffna Homestay was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly made us feel like family. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment throughout our stay. The homestay itself was immaculate, with spacious and beautifully decorated rooms that provided the perfect blend of comfort and charm. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the accommodation, from the cozy bedding to the thoughtfully curated decor. One of the highlights of our stay was the how close we were to everything witting 5-10 minutes drive and feeling homely. Our hosts were invaluable resources for exploring the local area, offering insightful recommendations. Truly a hidden gem and I would look no where else whenever I’m in Jaffna. Highly recommend and thank you so much Mr. Somasundhatam, care taker Senavi and Thushi who manages the property! . We can’t wait to come back 🙏🏽

Wir hatten eine grossartige Zeit in Bavani Home! Die Unterkunft ist geräumig, ruhig und sehr sauber, mit drei klimatisierten Schlafzimmern und einer modernen Küche, die wir teilweise genutzt haben. Der Garten bietet einen schönen Ausblick auf Mango-, Bananen- und Kokospalmen. Cargils Supermarkt ist 5 km entfernt, und der Bavani Store liegt nur 1 km entfernt – perfekt für den täglichen Bedarf. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ausgezeichnet. Kobi Kokulathas war unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und hat uns bei der Ankunft alles genau erklärt. Mit einem Auto ist die Lage ideal, nur 11 km von Jaffna entfernt. Eine familienfreundliche Unterkunft, die ich wärmstens weiterempfehle – ich komme gerne wieder!

Eine Wohlfühloase! Das Haus bietet viel Platz. Besonders der Garten mit Hängematte und die tolle Veranda gefielen uns. Ein rurales Refugium. Der richtige Ort um von der Hektik der Großstadt zu entspannen. Schnelle Busverbindung in die Innenstadt und zum Bahnhof.

I had a fantastic stay at Lanka Real Estate. The property is beautifully maintained, with a wonderful garden that adds to its charm. The host and staff are incredibly kind and helpful, making sure that every guest feels welcome and taken care of. I’m especially grateful for their effort in arranging a bicycle for me, which allowed me to explore Jaffna and the surrounding islands in an active and enjoyable way. The rooms and bathrooms are designed to a high and very comfortable standard, ensuring a relaxing stay. The location is also a big plus – it’s close enough for seaside walks, and you’ll find fishing boats and local fishing spots nearby. Despite this, there’s no unpleasant smell, just an authentic coastal atmosphere. I also really appreciated having drinking water available in the room – a thoughtful detail that makes a difference. Overall, I highly recommend this place and am truly happy I chose to stay here!

Raj was extremely welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful. Great to have tea, coffee, water for a small donation. Delicious and very generous breakfast for a very reasonable charge. Rooms were clean and bed was comfy. We would definitely consider staying again if we return to Jaffna.

I spent 3 nights with Heyu, Micha, and little Anami (plus the dogs) and have never felt so welcomed. I learned so much about Heyu’s village, Tamil culture, and the history of Jaffna, as well as some of the wonderful projects Heyu and and Micha are leading in the town. I left feeling like I gained new friends and a deep appreciation for a region I’d never visited before, but most certainly will return to. This was a fantastic homestay experience that I’ll highly recommend to anyone.
