Just 4 minutes away from Kabalana Beach & Ahangama town, our space offers a thoughtfully designed sanctuary designed for a slower, more connected way of living. At Mihira Home, natural materials, minimalist design, large open spaces, earthy colors, and a blend of indoor and outdoor living spaces were brought together to enjoy the natural elements of Sri Lanka.

New 2BD house in Coconut Plantation with 17m Pool

Cocoya is a working coconut and cinnamon plantation. Our house Sama means "Peace" in Sinhalese. It is designed to be a simple, open and spacious plantation home that connects with nature. It features an open living space, a kitchen and direct access to a 17m pool. Upstairs we have a master suite and junior bedroom that share a balcony with plantation views. Both have ensuite open-air showers. Guests enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and exclusive pool access. We do not have air-conditioning.

STAY at Ahangama

STAY at Ahangama is a 1950s built villa renovated to its current standard in 2016. The villa is very spacious and lets in plenty of light, especially in the main livingroom area. The villa features a middle courtyard with a fish pond and a pool with a deck to cool off the usually hot temperature in Galle. You can reach Ahangama beach within five minutes (walking), and Mirissa beach or Unawatuna beach in 20 minutes by vehicle. The Galle Fort is within a 25 minute drive from our property.

The Gatehouse at is an exclusive, private self catering getaway for a couple or a solo traveller. It is located at the entrance to the estate and features a private 8-metre pool. It is an ideal home base to explore the area. Everything you need is provided in stylish, designer luxury. The washing machine and dryer make travelling easy and hiring a scooter from Epic Rides or using either Pick me app or our trusted tuk drivers allows easy beach and local historic site access.

A uniquely designed and styled jungle bungalow with a mezzanine bedroom, one bathroom and kitchen. It is inspired by the tiny house concept. Outside space includes private plunge pool & BBQ. Soak up the tranquility of nature whilst being just a 5 min walk to the Indian Ocean and some of Sri Lanka’s famed beaches and surf spots, including Kabalana beach. With a long coral reef all along the beach just 70m from the sand it forms our famous natural swimming pool. Sometimes you can swim with giant turtles. You can swim all year round and 24 hours a day. We provide all services you need. From airport transfers to tours or day trips, fishing, snorkeling along the reef to scuba diving from Unawatuna Dive Center, meals and drinks, Ayurveda Treatments to Yoga lessons.
