The house is a traditional Normandy longhouse, made of granite, wood and tile. There are 185 square meters of indoor space. The farmhouse has been sensitively restored using traditional materials. La Pichardiere sits in the heart of the Normandy countryside far away from busy traffic in a secluded two acre garden set in a corner of a regional park (equivalent to a National Park in UK) -- It is a place to escape from city life! I love its peacefulness and the presence of the natural world.

Welcome to Gite Des Roses, set within a 300 year old farmhouse surrounded by the Normandy countryside. Myself, my husband, our dog, cat and 5 free range chickens love it here. One dog allowed per stay. 2 on request. Dogs to be kept on a lead in garden. The Japanese Pavilion

The Japanese Pavilion, modeled on Japanese ryokans, is an unusual eco-lodge, unprecedented in Normandy! It is made entirely of wood, on stilts, partly planted directly on our vast pond, towards which it offers a remarkable view. Zen atmosphere guaranteed!

The Pressoir is independent from the Manor house. A lawn and a large pond separate the two places. The kitchen is fully equiped. A large room shares lounge, fire place, large dining area and kitchen. The bedroom, bathroom and toilets are separated.
