Mountain Momma Homestead Cottage

A quaint studio guest house located in one of the many hollers of West Virginia. Less than 1 mile from I64, the house is roughly 300 sq. feet, centrally located between Charleston, New River Gorge, and Huntington. This guest house is equip with an outdoor space that includes a firepit and grill. It is located close to the main living quarters, but it is disconnected. There is a queen bed, full bath and kitchenette (microwave, coffee pot & mini fridge) on main level. Guests are welcome to use outside kitchen which has full fridge, gas, charcoal & flat top grill. We are within short driving distance to: Marshall University, Cabell Huntington Hospital or St. Mary's, the Huntington Mall The place is small, quaint and cozy, offers a full kitchen, comfy bed, we live close to a highway so there is some traffic and our driveway is at a incline we are in a protected area which is near the city and on a bus line. Kate's Hideaway House was wonderful for our family celebration ! Plenty of room for, at times, 12 of us. It was well supplied with most any thing we needed in the kitchen, bathroom or bedrooms. We enjoyed using the gas grill on the back porch, and watching the deer crossing the driveway in the afternoons. We will definitely consider it again for more of our family get together s.

This is our second time staying and we will absolutely be back!!! This house is absolutely gorgeous - patio is right on the river and has great views! Inside is wonderfully decorated and homey. Lots of extra time and care put into this one! So many great amenities and walkable and central to everything! We love it here!
