Old Town Lake Retreat

Take it easy at this secluded, waterfront cabin near beautiful Magnolia Beach. Fish or launch kayaks from your front yard. This rustic property is located down a dirt road that can be very difficult to access when it rains a lot. 4x4 vehicles recommend. During dry times, the road is fine. Wildlife of all kinds are sometimes seen, many species of birds, bobcat, deer, and sometimes snakes. Alligators live in Old Town Lake, much like any body of water in South Texas. Swimming not recommended.

With 3 bedrooms to accommodate 6 adults comfortably, a futon, & a blowup mattress, this is a great place for a family getaway, fishing trip, business trip, or to just explore what Port Lavaca and the surrounding Bay area has to offer - Beaches, Nature Walk, fishing piers, bait shops, historical markers, a history museum, golf course, dining, and more.

Our group of six was in need of a place to stay ASAP. I’m so glad Summer‘s place was available. I booked it without really getting to see pictures because I didn’t have the greatest cell service. Everybody thought it was perfect. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, room for everyone. Nice big dining table to gather around. Everything you might need in the kitchen. As soon as it was ready,Summer let me know we could check in a little early. Thankful it turned out and that it exceeded our expectations.

Amazing place to take the family. Beautiful House that really makes you feel at home and on vacation at the same time. Great fishing as well! Caught keeper black drum minutes after starting. Host was really helpful and giving. We will definitely be staying again! :D
