Vacation rentals with beach access in Placencia Peninsula

Had a wonderful time. Great location. close to everything but super quiet.

In the month that we stayed, a few things needed attention. Those few items were taken care of right away. Both our maintenance guy and our housekeeper were always cheerful, helpful and efficient. The apartment, including the kitchen, was very well appointed. The bed was comfortable and everything worked as expected. Kudos to Craig for providing a very pleasant and practical place to stay. Recomended!

We absolutely loved Sunset Gecko. It is perfectly located just off the main road so it's easy to get around, but still has a lot of privacy. The condo was absolutely gorgeous and totally exceeded our expectations. The staff and chef service were fantastic

This was our 8th stay in Placencia. We have always stayed at the same place which we love but it was not avaliable. Trying somewhere new was a little iffy but the Updeh Apartment at Ohana did not disappoint. The inside and outside are beautiful. We truly enjoyed our 10 days and cannot wait to go back. Thank you for everything!

The Tiki Toucan was a lovely place to stay, we highly recommend it. All of the amenities were very high quality, from the bedding and towels to the well curated kitchen acutrements and bar accessories. It's a cozy space that is very comfortable but the outside amenities really make the this a fun place to stay. The ocean breeze meant it always felt cool and the view of the ocean was mesmerizing. I'd recommend a car for this location as it's a ways from town, but a short drive. The beach is limited as there are no chairs/loungers, but there is a nice dock for daytime and the pool area more than makes up for it. The hosts were very friendly and had a book with lots of great recommendations.

Amber's Happy Place was truly amazing! You are a short distance from Placencia and in an area where you get some privacy and beach access. We originally thought we would want to be in the heart of Placencia but quickly realized that we would not have enjoyed it as much as where Amber's home is located. The inside is decorated in local art and has been tastefully done. All of the natural wood really adds to the place. We had all of the amenities that we needed and the air conditioning was able to keep us cool on those hot days. We did not want to leave! All I have to say is...PERFECTION!!! We've been renting airbnb's for over 10 years and this has been the best yet. Great location, well taken care of, clean, responsive friendly hosts, great amenities and the most well stocked place I've experienced. I can't say enough great things about this place.

We’ve had a wonderful time in this beach cabin. It is incredibly well located in Placencia with tons of restaurants and scuba diving shops. It is a large lot right between the main pier and the beach with 3 cabins on it: 2 for short term rental on Airbnb closer to the beach and one slightly at the back where Arthur and Aura lives. Aura and Arthur welcomed us and explained the rules and provided recommendations. Although not the most luxurious place, the cabin was very clean and comfortable, and definitely much cheaper than other beachfront options in Placencia. So very good value for money. Hosts even refreshed the room twice during our 6 days stay, which was awesome!

We had a great family stay! Very responsive team and great amenities - View is spectacular and super clean. We loved Archie (the local dog team member) as well!!! We utilized the local chef service and they also stocked the fridge with items requested for us for our arrival. Would stay again!

The house was very comfortable and views were amazing. We loved having our own oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The location is not near the main village so would recommend having your own transportation. The kitchen had everything you'd need so we didn't have to purchase a bunch of additional items like spices. Bed was comfortable and the overall living space was great.

We love the property and keep coming back; this was our 5th or 6th straight year. We like the fact that it is pretty far north because we like to explore the beautiful country of Belize. We are still close to the great restaurants in Maya beach and can access the village relatively easily. It is clear that Greta loves the property too and does her best to take care of it and improve upon it. The progress on the fountain is great and we look forward to see it functioning in its full glory. We appreciate the effort she makes! Whenever an issue arises, we appreciate the fact that we can work together with Greta to quickly resolve it. It was also a bonus to have Phillip working on the grounds and trying to improve our esperience while we were there this year. The only downsides with our visit this year was about a week of squalling cats during the night and owls that were extremely loud during the wee hours. We are looking forward to coming again next year or perhaps even later this year.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home by the sea! If you want to get away to a place to relax, this is a great option. The house is clean, modern, and well-equipped. The beach is out your back door. Lori was super friendly, considerate, and a great communicator. The only heads up I would give is that the doors on the bedrooms and bathrooms are not completely private. Take this into account when traveling with others. Overall, we were very satisfied with this place!

An incredible host. Very responsive, kind, and welcoming. Kat greeted us when we arrived and was present when needed but not intrusive. Kat had plenty of recommendations for local businesses, and it's clear she's connected with her community as she reached out for solutions to a major sunburn. The place was very clean, full of amenities, and very comfortable. We had been planning this trip for over a year, and Kat was very communicative through the whole process. Highly recommend her place(s).

This villa was in a great location, in the center of the peninsula, making everything equally accessible. The space was very clean and the AC worked great! We really enjoyed the pool in the evenings and the view of the sea while swimming. The restaurant across the road has a perfect view of the sunset. The sunrise view from the balcony of the villa was so wonderful! We extended our stay because we enjoyed the villa so much.

We visited Placencia during Tropical Storm Sara (Nov 2024). As we have never been in a tropical storm (snow blizzards are what we are used to), it was a panic when traveling into one with our 2 children. All we ever want is for them to be safe. Tracy was kind to let us check in a couple hours earlier for peace of mind. Thankfully - the storm hit north of us and the weather improved through out our stay. We love the location - watching and listening to the waves facing the Caribbean, and then having the lagoon on the other side. My kids swam every day in the pool, even when it was pouring rain. Rosa, the caretaker, was extremely friendly and helpful. We would 100% stay here again next time we visit. The use of the kayaks was a great perk. We didn’t use the bikes.

Host was very accommodative and responsive. She also gave the space that made us feel welcomed and comfortable. There was an issue with random raccoons running around at a place nearby and host went out her way to make sure we made it to the house safely. She also forewarned us about the construction that was happening nearby which I found very respectful and we truly appreciated it. Will recommend and will stay again, Most High’s will.

I had an amazing 10 star experience here - the condo had everything I needed for a very comfortable month-long stay. I felt right at home and very safe. SA, the owner, was very proactive with communication and provided so much helpful info (how to get fresh juice and local meat delivered, which days to visit the produce stands, duty free at the airport, etc). Emma and Edwin, the caretakers, are so friendly and are always available to help. Beyond spending your days on the beach, you can book numerous tours to keep you occupied (scuba, snorkel, cave tubing, Mayan ruins, ziplining, etc). I spent a lot of time just chillin' on the beautiful porch watching the gorgeous sunsets with a Belikin in-hand. If you rent a golf cart or bike, you can easily be in the heart of the town in 5-7 minutes with access to wonderful restaurants, markets and shops. I can't wait to come back when SA is also in town because she'd be a very cool person to hang out with!

we rented this place with our friends on kids. this was a perfect location. the private pool, and the beach was amazing. check in was very simple and helpful. I will definitely come back to this place again.

Extremely nice pace to stay and super close to all the festivities and restaurants

Our stay was amazing. The location was convenient to restaurants and activities. Floor to ceiling windows surround you in the primary suite overlooking the crystal clear water. Open the patio doors for a wonderful breeze! The kitchen has beautiful high end appliances and the furnishings are modern and stylish. The grounds are beautifully maintained with lots of flowering plants. We highly recommend you try the Triggerfish.
