For peace and quiet in a beautiful location, this is your spot. Great accommodations within an easy drive of Sparta and West Jefferson for small town attractions with genuinely nice people. Recommend bringing fishing rod for the pond and binoculars for wildlife sightings. Use Google maps instead of Waze for the address for ease of initial arrival. We’ll definitely be repeat guests!

We stayed at Juan’s mountain chalet for 8 nights. We enjoyed nearby state parks within an hours drive. The wraparound deck, mountain view, birds and deer were enjoyed by all. Morning coffee on the deck was a special treat each day. The house was clean and comfortable. Juan was a great host. He actually purchased a new crockpot before we arrived at the chalet when I asked if there was one available. He was speedy in answering any other questions that I had. We would stay at Juan’s home again.

Really quiet location and very cute home. Hosts were proactive with their communication. We stayed here a couple nights and left stuff while we hiked Grayson Highlands. Super convenient if you need a place in that area.

Amy's place is a clean, comfortable two bedroom home on a very quiet and secluded gravel road, only 10 or 15 minutes away from Grayson Highlands State Park and the wonderful Mt. Rogers National Recreation Area, one of my favorite places in the southern Appalachians. The house has everything one needs for a highly pleasant getaway. I'm a repeat customer.

Tina was the kindest host! She was super responsive when we had questions and was extremely friendly and hospitable. She was great at being flexible with our needs and truly went above and beyond. We also fell in love with her donkeys, Buster and Donkey. We loved our stay and are so grateful to Tina for being an incredible host!

Stayed May 26-June 1. Perfect cabin for 4 people. We drove our RAM truck hauling 2 Harley bikes. The yard is big enough to accommodate. The driveway is gravel but it wasn’t too uphill. We encountered few problems and Ms. Jill answered all our questions and helped with the situation. She’s a phenomenal host! She’s very responsive, and accommodating to our issues. Complete amenities. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. We did brought our own ( we always do). We cooked breakfast for three days and cooked some steaks on the griddle outside on our 2nd night. Washed our clothes, laundry supplies provided. Great WiFi connection. We rode our bikes to the mountains. If you love to ride, you won’t regret staying here! 5 star review. Definitely recommended!

Our stay was incredible. We had a great time fishing, the river was beautiful. The home was clean and accommodating with everything we needed. It was a cozy, relaxing quiet environment. I have to say the highlight of our trip was meeting Tim, we had a very genuine conversation about life and shared experiences. After our talk it felt like we were staying with a trusted friend that we have known all our lives. This made our stay feel safe and welcoming. Thank you for being an A++ host

Recommend this cozy cabin to all of you who is looking for a peaceful and beautiful surroundings on top of the mountain. Trails are not far away, same with a grocery store’s. Plenty of space to play with a family or just walk around in the morning cloud while drinking coffee. High clearance vehicle is mandatory to get there.

Bakers cottage was so peaceful. It was nice sitting on porch listening g to the birds and the stream of water. We felt right at home. We left our iron and iron board and they made sure one was there. It was very clean. Tonya was so easy to work with. She made our stay enjoyable with a birthday treat. We will be back because it’s one of the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

if you looking for a place to relax and unwind this is the place to be. Quiet community off the beaten path. house has all the amenities you could want. We were a party of 10 and everyone was comfortable and plenty of room for all. Beds were very comfortable. plenty of bathrooms. would stay here again

loved our stay! great location, only about 45 minutes from Grayson highlands state Park to go see wild ponies. The property also along the New River, so we brought our inflatable paddle boards and went for a short paddle up river and then floated back down (don't recommend unless you are experienced with river paddling safety). Everything about our stay was wonderful and we hope to stay again in the future

We stayed 3 nights with our pup for our anniversary. We did not get to fully enjoy this beautiful property - it was so dang windy and cooler than usual for this time of year. I was looking forward to lots of time reading on the spacious porch! We did enjoy playing ball in the meadow with our pup and by the river a bit. The home was clean, cozy, and comfortable with lots of windows providing tranquil views and lots of natural light. The kitchen is well stocked. Both bedrooms are upstairs with a bathroom between them. The bathroom sink was a bit awkward to navigate due to the ceiling. There is a full bath downstairs by the entry as well. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again. It's very private and peaceful - a quiet, relaxing stay.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It is the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! Everything we needed was in the house, especially for cooking. The farm is very peaceful and quiet, yet not too far "out there" away from things. We enjoyed meeting our hosts Alan & Sue and looked forward to seeing their dog Hudson's wagging tail every time he got to greet us.

I don’t want to say to much for selfish availability reasons… This place is the wooded escape you are looking for! I brought my 2 best friends and we are all so relaxed, and it was definitely because of Ann and Bree!! Updated everything, cozy feel, recommendations for local things, and things to help operating the house all wrapped up in welcome binder! We loved our stay and have already made plans to come back!! If I’m willing to bring family and go back many times over, I’ll let you make the decision but this one gets my respect and recommendation every time!! Thanks again ladies, it was amazing!!!
