I almost wish I could keep this place a secret and not write a review so that people don't visit and the place remains hidden in the vast, beautiful and alive wilderness. But here I am. This is a place for peace lovers, sunset lovers and mother nature's devotees. If you do come here, I hope you make sustainable choices and get to dive deep into nature's secrets with open and loving hearts. Happy travel!

Tridiva - A Himalayan Homestay

KushaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Tridiva truly feels like home, thanks to Meeta, Pradeep Bhaiya, and their adorable dog Oak. From the moment we arrived and were welcomed with refreshing nimbu pani, we felt the warmth of the place. Meeta is the soul of Tridiva. Her home is filled with thoughtful touches, love, and care. Every morning, I looked forward to chatting with her over tea—something that usually only happens with family. Her values, kindness, and efforts to protect nature (like preventing forest fires and reducing plastic use) are deeply inspiring. Spending time with her was a reminder of how beautiful genuine human connection can be. Huge thanks to Pradeep Bhaiya for the delicious meals—each one different, homely, and perfectly made. His aloo parathas and Pahari dal are a must-try! And then there’s Oak, the in-house dog, who helped me overcome a lifelong fear of dogs. He was my first petting experience and made a big impact. Tridiva isn’t just a stay—it’s an experience.

Swayambhu Himalayan Suburban Villa

AmitRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Karnprayag Villa is truly one of the most amazing places we've ever stayed — nestled in the heart of nature, surrounded by peace, silence, and beauty that helps you disconnect from the chaos and reconnect with yourself. Every room in the villa feels like it has its own story to tell, filled with warmth and charm. A special thanks to the owner, Pradeep, who was incredibly responsive and accommodating — even helping us at the last minute to make space for a few extra family members. His hospitality truly made a difference. We absolutely loved the collection of books in the villa — there's something magical about sitting with a book surrounded by mountains. I’ve promised myself that one day I’ll come back just to read through them all. My little niece had a great time playing with all the thoughtfully kept toys — such a lovely touch for families with children. And we cannot thank the cook enough for the mouth-watering meals — every dish was delicious, comforting, and made with so much
An outdoor dining setup features a wooden table adorned with breakfast items, surrounded by lush green grass. Scenic views of rolling hills and a partly cloudy sky create a tranquil atmosphere, inviting guests to enjoy meals while taking in the surrounding nature.

Indradhanush

Let me tell you about Gwaldam, a place that’s totally underrated and an absolute gem. We had the pleasure of staying there for two nights, both coming from and going to Munsyari, and we stayed in both their accommodations. The place was spotless and had everything we needed, including a fully functional kitchen and WiFi. On the second night, we were blessed with breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains. Just a short drive away, you’ll be surrounded by stunning scenery and snow-capped peaks from the Himalayan range. We even brought our pet Charlie, and he had a blast playing with their dog, Rosy. The food at Negi’s was delicious, and you can either order it up to the house or cook your own meals. Overall, we had an amazing time and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an offbeat, non-touristy place to spend the weekend.
A cozy sleeping area features a spacious bed with blue bedding, surrounded by earthen walls adorned with soft textures. Natural light enters through small windows near the ceiling. A chair and a small shelf are present, contributing to a simple yet functional layout.
Earthen home in Wan

Offline Homestay

SylviaRating, 5 stars24 months ago
I had an amazing visit at Neha’s place. Looking to be in the cool mountains and do some treks, I got much more than I bargained for. The house is located in lower Wan among farming families that are so kind, helpful and hospitable. Even with the language barrier (I speak neither Hindi nor Garwali) I learnt a lot about mountain life, potato, wheat and amaranth growing, and most of all, simple sustainable living. The house itself was another reason I I chose Wan. It is truly a wonder to sleep in Neha’s fully-functional hand-made mud hut. It feels like you are truly in nature with the added comforts of a big bed, great pillows& blankets and other details to make even city folk feel at ease. I love the attention to detail. It is a mud hut but definitely more than that and shows what a little creativity can achieve. Loved it and hope to return. I look forward to reading about the building process, if Neha writes that book!

Namasvi Villa-1BHK with WiFi-Full EQUIP Kitchen

KunalRating, 5 stars2 months ago
All the other reviews here definitely do justice to this place. The space is large, meticulously clean with a separate stocked kitchenette, a spacious bathroom and multiple terrace areas with breath taking views. This really is a home away from home, and you will quite literally be treated like family as soon as you enter the house. Feels more like a visit to your favourite cousins’ house than a bnb. The hosts are absolutely delightful, accommodating and extremely helpful with anything you might need in or outside the house. They’re very well versed with the surrounding area and have great recommendations for things to do, places to visit etc. I’m forever grateful to Anant and Janki Ji’s warmth and hospitality. The only drawback of staying here is garnering the courage to actually leave the place! You need not look any further if you’re looking for a place to call home in Kausani.
