Tiny house vacation rentals in Pichincha

We stayed at Hostería la Roulotte during the very busy holiday weekend of All Souls Day. What we didn’t know before booking was that seemingly all of Quito was also going to be in Mindo that weekend, so it was very busy in town and all over the valley. Despite all the traffic, it was comfortable and quiet at Roulotte. The cabañas (cabins) are super cute and cozy and they do have warm water for the showers, which is especially nice. There is a lovely central building where the restaurant and bar are located. It has several tables for eating or gathering and a nice lounge area as well. It’s also the best spot on the property for decent WiFi, as the signal, like the noise from the road, doesn’t carry very far in the middle of the cloud forest. On the property you can enjoy great food, lounge in the hammocks, or try not to get lost in the bamboo labyrinth. La Roulotte is within easy walking distance of the butterfly farm and a chair lift that you can take up to the top of the hill for a great view and some hiking. Ignacio and his family are wonderful hosts who put every effort into making sure their guests are very comfortable and happy. We highly recommend this guesthouse for a peaceful getaway.

I was surprised how well everything was prepared. Emergency food supply, coffee, tea, sugar, spices, ironing board and iron, hairdryer and much more. Everything in a peaceful garden with fireplace and hammock. 8-)) Next visit to Quito, I'll definitely be back here! Thanks Margarita!

Our stay at Samay's was great, the room is just as shown in the photos, and the service is unbeatable. Very attentive and kind, always making sure that everything is to our liking. I recommend getting the package with dinner and breakfast, it's worth it.

We had a great time in the cabin and its surroundings! We'll be back!

Our stay at the hacienda was simply spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the service was first-class, the atmosphere was cozy and every detail was very well cared for. The breakfast, delicious and well served, made our experience even better. 10/10, thanks for giving us unique attention. Totally recommended!

A cozy place surrounded by nature to disconnect or have a nice time as a couple.

Sarai and Lex were wonderful hosts. They offer a ride from the airport (for a fee) and were there waiting for us with a sign with our name. The house is cozy and surrounded by beautiful trees and plants. Their dog is the sweetest thing ever. They were so helpful with travel information. The breakfast was fabulous. Sarai and Lex were so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you Sarai and Lex for everything!

My Shetland dogs had a great time because they had a large, fully fenced garden to play in. The cabin has an extraordinary panoramic view.

Wonderful, peaceful cabin in Mindo. We had a great time in this cozy cabin, near to many attractions and the river! Elaine is a very hospitable and friendly host, she gave us some great recommendations for our stay in Mindo.

It was a very nice experience, with a lot of nature and peace. The only thing I suggest is that if there was a restaurant service it would be excellent.

Very nice place, cozy and ideal for disconnecting from the world and enjoying nature. The house is very well equipped with everything for cooking and grilling! Alejandra was very kind and even helped us change the reservation date. We are very grateful and hope to be back soon

We had a great stay here, the views are fantastic, really good location near to the airport, which was ideal for us, and Xavier and his family were so welcoming to us, we really enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend.

WOW! We were treated like family. This place is a real gem in the area. The Airbnb is a traditional house in a kitchwa community with 5 star service and a 10 start host. Unfortunately we stayed only for a night but felt like we were there for a week. Jaki gave us a tour of her farm and animals, my family cooked dinner together with her in a wood oven and ate the meal together like a big family. If you are are looking for not just an Airbnb but an experience of a traditional Ecuadorian life, this is the place! Jaki is a very thoughtful and caring person.
