Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Philippeville

The accommodation was fantastic. Reception and communication with Pascal and his partner very good. Everything was very complete and clean. The house is beautifully situated on the Meuse, very quiet overlooking all kinds of birds such as swans, egrets, cormorants and Canadian geese. There are bicycles available and it is easy to cycle along the Maas to both the village of Revin and Montherme, both very likeable. At Montherme is also the special Roc La Tour, where we were able to walk beautifully. The most beautiful walk just starts at the house, namely Les Creces de Laifour, along Dames de Meuse and La Source Ferugineuse (with beautiful matching fables) and over the ridge behind the house back to the Meuse. Only downside was that the restaurant Tschar Scaille was full, but that's a nice excuse to come back again.

The house offers everything you need for a great vacation! Lots of comfort available! Highly recommended for staying with a dog! Beautiful hiking trails, amazing view, nice garden! In short, we enjoyed it and definitely recommend it to people!

This place is impeccable. As everyone pointed out, the atmosphere is positive and mixes modern, old and industrial. It's spacious, 4 bedrooms: 2 with bath and 2 with shower. There are also 3 wc. The equipment is complete: even the terrace with barbecue and its accessories... In addition to the cleanliness and freshness, what we really liked was its location: in the heart of the old fortified town (Vauban). This house is close to everything: you park your car in front and you can get everywhere on foot. But, this home is away from the main roads: at night there is a country calm. Very satisfied, we will be back!

It's a beautiful peaceful valley where you'll have all the space to yourself, with nature around you. The historic building is a pleasure to live in. Thank you for hosting!

We had a wonderful friends weekend in the house! Highly recommended. Only positive experiences. With my 2 meters, I hit my head once hard against the stairs. You always have to bend over there when you're tall! Super nice host, who also thinks along and is easy to reach. Other words, just great!

Caro & Andy are perfect hosts: welcoming, responsive and warm. Their place is charming and peaceful: if you are lucky enough to have good weather, the terrace will be perfect. We were 3 adults and had a lovely stay with the family. Thanks Caro & Andy 🙏🏼

Great location. Very close to restaurant and river front. Lots of places close by to visit. I stayed with my family including my two kids. Givet is closeby to Dinant, so we also visited Dinant and had dinner back in Givet.

Everything was well in order, and the place looks better than is shown on the pictures!

Really beautiful place! Tastefully decorated, very clean, functional with all the comforts. The kitchen and bathrooms are more than equipped. Lots of small touches are present in all the rooms to make you feel really at home. Communication with Sarah goes very well, she responds quickly to our messages and tries to satisfy us as best as possible. We recommend ++++ and we will come back

The Refuge is aptly named. I spent a month there and spent most of my time there. I was able to take the time I needed for myself and recharge my batteries. Thanks to the hosts for their availability and communication. Thanks again! I didn't miss a thing and loved the place.

Honestly, nothing to say. I recommend it and will come back with great pleasure. Very clean and well-located accommodation. Jean-François was very friendly, hosted us very well, explained everything well and made some recommendations regarding restaurants, activities etc.

We booked Jean-François' apartment especially for a serial marathon, and frankly, it was perfect! The video projector and home theater installation are great: we were able to fully enjoy our two nights. The couch is comfortable, the WiFi connection is fast, and everything was fine when we arrived. Thanks to Jean-François for his warm welcome and responsiveness! We'll definitely be back for a future session.

Second time we've been there, everything went very well. Stove on for check-in. We enjoyed the hot tub. We hope to see you soon.

We really had a fantastic stay. Sabine is very friendly and considerate. We felt right at home. In the neighborhood, there are beautiful walks and the town of Bouillon is nearby. We have completely relaxed here and would immediately book again.

Charming gite in a super nice, quiet location. We enjoyed the house like the beautiful garden Cecile and Denis are nice hosts who made sure we didn't miss anything and were always quick and easy to reach. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice stay with 10 friends! The house is nicely furnished, clean, and equipped with every comfort. The playroom was especially popular. The location is great, quiet but still close to sights. Communication with Julie was also smooth and friendly. The only downside was that at times there was a sewer smell in certain parts of the house. Possibly something small that is easy to resolve. All in all a very nice place where we would definitely like to stay again!

We were there with 6 adults and 3 small children for 5 days and celebrated a wonderful birthday there. A great house, superbly equipped in the kitchen area. Unfortunately, there was only 1 crib and 1 high chair, maybe you could be a little more flexible! And the discussion with the size of the duvet covers and sheets and renting the bed linen when using a double bed as a single person (here you have to book the bed linen for 2 people!) is probably very narrow-minded with such a great house and the price. But otherwise a very quiet location with a wonderful view, a fantastic hot tub, which you have to heat up early enough and a billiard room complete this exclusive house very well! We enjoyed this nice house with wonderful swimming pool with our family of 3. Nice rooms, nice bathrooms and nice and spacious. The area is beautiful and much to do. We would highly recommend this house!

We came with 3 adults , 2 kids and 1 small dog. Sylvie's house is spacious, clean and with a nice view in the living room. one surprise us is that one room has some toys to keep our daughters happy. we feel very satisfied and happy to stay with sylvie house and we recommend it.

It's a lovely home, beautifully decorated, a very pleasant environment to hang out and enjoy time with family and friends. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen offers everything needed for cooking meals, and the backyard is key for dogs. It's a short walk into Rochefort, an attractive, clean town. We had dinner at La Bastide, also owned by Louise, and had a delicious meal. Highly recommend this house and restaurant.
