Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Petersburg

Booked for a local assembly being held. This place was perfect. Everything was clean. Very modern place. We loved sitting out on the porch in the front. The beds were very comfortable. There are restaurants, stores, grocery stores, etc right across the street, which was so convenient.

We had a wonderful stay. The property was beautiful- very well kept and cozy. We were very comfortable. Rose was easy to communicate and so inviting. Thanks for a great visit we will come back someday!

Ashley's home is in a lovely quiet wooded neighborhood - lots of green space, trees, pretty homes, and very friendly neighbors. If you enjoy walking, biking, or running, you'll be in the perfect spot. We don't have a dog, but it's nice that she allows people who do to bring along their furry friends. The beds and super comfy and the blackout curtains also make for a good night's sleep. A great place to stay if you're looking for peace and quiet.

This home was absolutely perfect! Kay was super communicative as a host and so sweet to leave a few extra local goodies for us upon arrival. Our family felt so comfortable in the space and the property was beautiful. An amazing stay and an excuse to go to Virginia again!

Stayed here with family for a few days. It was clean and comfortable. I'm very picky about cleanliness and we were able to make ourselves at home immediately. It was also very peaceful. We even saw a few deer next to the house! It's walking distance to a supermarket, which is huge when you're on vacation and don't want to spend all day getting essentials! We would definitely stay here again!

Cute, quaint AirBnB that had everything we possibly needed for our short weekend stay. it was nice to have some seclusion for ourselves and our dogs. It is next to a main road so you can hear cars driving during the day, but this was not a problem at night. Loved the direct access to the bike path!

This home is a true gem! It's beautifully designed with an abundance of natural light, creating a wonderfully airy and welcoming atmosphere. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, the peaceful sounds of birdsong were a delightful backdrop to our stay. The house was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for an enjoyable and comfortable visit. We were in town for a swim meet, and the location was perfect for a direct and easy drive to the Collegiate School Aquatic Center. This home provided an excellent and relaxing respite from a fast-paced long weekend. Highly recommend!

What a lovely place! The blue bungalow is so stylish and artistic ! The owner is super friendly and responsive. Everything is sparkling clean. We had never stayed at the North Side before and we fell in love with the neighborhood! Kristy’s boutique is in walking distance and it’s super cute as well. We also loved the Stir Crazy Cafe for lattes and biscuits in the morning. I highly recommend this listing

This home is located on a quiet, picturesque street within walking distance of many restaurants, parks, and attractions. Beautiful garden in the front. Sophisticated contemporary decor that is comfortable and functional. The owners clearly pay a lot of attention to detail and think of all the little things that travelers need. It was immaculate, bed was comfy, the towels were all soft, and there were supplies for a tea drinker like me. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would return.

I highly recommend Mary as a host and her beautiful cottage. I will definitely stay here again if I travel this way. She is a wonderful person and her place is immaculately clean, well equipped and peaceful.

Such great hosts! Their space is perfect for long stays, equipped with everything you could need. They are super responsive and were always so kind and helpful! Would love to stay again if I’m in the area.

I highly recommend Johnny's! What stood out to me walking into the unit for the first time is that Johnny seems to really care--he cares about your experience, he cares about offering a home and not just a place to stay, he pays attention to details, he cares about design and aesthetics. He seems to care from a place of valuing experiences and taking pride in his own work product, not because he's trying to sell something for reviews like so many Airbnbs these days (I've stayed in over 30 in the last two years). It was my first time in Richmond and while I considered staying in the Fan District, I am so glad I ended up at Johnny's. As it turns out, Richmond is sprawled out and I would have been driving irrespective of what neighborhood I was staying in and Johnny's was centrally located for everything I wanted to explore. I enjoyed my daily walks around the neighborhood, and there's a cute new bookstore and a bagel shop down the street. Johnny is also so easy to communicate with.

Beautiful place in a nice neighborhood with a lot to do. Christy was very responsive and helpful with questions, and has a great book of recommended things to do during your stay!

This is truly a vacation spot. Serene and quiet you can feel your anxiety decrease. The inside is beautiful but the outside at night is magnificent. I cannot wait to return.

If I could have taken that bed home with me I would have, SO COMFY! The house was so clean and beautiful. I had a wonderful time there and really enjoyed the neighborhood. Lots to do, I was never bored. Nita was a great host too!
