A fully equipped studio right next to New Bulgarian University. A sofa that have been transformed to a bed.Unique view to the whole city and to Vitosha mountain from the terrace.Very cost with a modern design. Everything you need for a quiet and relaxed vacation - business or entertainment. A restaurant, coffee shop , shisha bar next to the building and bus stations with good communication to the city center - 20 minutes to city center.
“A very nice flat. It is not huge but the sofa bed was very confortable, which is most important to sleep well. Everything is there too if you want to cook or wash your clothes. Many TV channels in all major languages. A table to dine or to work. Very little noise from the street below, the flat is very well insulated too so you can heat it very little and stay very warm. The bus stop NBU is right at the bottom of the building. Bus 45 goes to metro station Vardar and there is also bus 73 but you then have to take a tram to get to the center of Sofia. Moovit app can help you find your way around. I found a good supermarket about 3 bus stops away with bus 45 or 73 towards the south. Entrance is automated but Reny's instructions were easy to understand. Check out is also automated which allowed me to leave at 5 in the morning to catch an early flight without feeling guilty. My only suggestion, although Reny was very reactive, would be to add a user manual for optimal use if the various equipments : washing machine, oven, cooking, TV remote, heater remote, shower, and also things around such as supermarkets, shops, cafés, ... A great place to stay if you are looking for something close to NBU university or ESFAM where I had to work.”
A newly refurbished apartment in a quiet area near the city centre.
“We booked the place for 10 days over the Christmas season. The flat is exactly as described and it provides everything you need. The location is great- just few stops by public transport from the centre of Sofia. The host- well Mirela was absolutely brilliant! She agreed on an earlier than advertised check-in, but she had no problem when we had to change our arrival time few times, due to us being very late! Communication was absolutely outstanding and so was the flexibility of Mirela. I would definitely recommend the place!”
Completely renovated, fully furnished modern luxurious 1-bedroom apartment in a safe area very close to downtown Sofia. Although in a central location, the area is reasonably quiet; apartment faces away from busy streets, within a short walking distance from Palace of Culture and Vitosha street – the pedestrian heart of the city. The space features a large bedroom, living room, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The place is good for couples, business travelers, and families (with kids).
“Hello, we stayed 3 nights from August 1st to August 4th 2018 morning. Family of 2 adults and two children (17 and 12 years old). Peter greeted us at about 10 pm, modified schedule following the delay of the airline. After a summary and efficient explanation in English, we moved into this beautiful modern and functional apartment. Located 10 minutes from downtown on foot, it is strategically very well located for sightseeing. Honestly, it can be visited in one day, the main thing being after Vitosha Boulevard. On a practical level, you will find a bakery 200m to the right towards the park. She is adorable, these pastries are delicious! a supermarket is 700m always right towards the park (which is located to the left of the app.). We also enjoyed taking a break at Bistro 16. The welcome is very nice. For outdoor visits, the must-see Rila Monastery can be visited for free. It is located at 1:30. Preferably in the morning to avoid tourist buses. You can also drive to Alenko station on Mount Vitosha. there are nice walks afterwards. For those who like to run, I recommend the Sofia Park on the left when leaving the apartment. Sofia does not have the immediate charm of other capitals like Prague or Budapest. However, she lets herself be deliciously visited. For those arriving by plane, a taxi costs between 18 and 20lev (10 € about 15 minutes). Very convenient. Check the price first. We did not take public transport because everything can be done on foot without excess. We rented a car with Bulgar Yourbgcar. 604 € for 19 days with the possibility to go to Romania and the full fact. We inherited a beautiful Ford focus red vermilion very convenient for the trunk (two large suitcases and three bags) and very good driving. The deposit is 150 € with the possibility of paying by card (no withdrawal of course). They come to drop the car in front of the apartment! We will return to Sofia airport at no extra charge! A little crush on the restaurant Divaka, well known in Sofia is really very cheap. Our favorite for visiting the mosque located next to the market. We would have liked to also visit the synagogue, but it closes at 17h. Bulgaria is really a land of contrast, because human relations can be radically different from one person to another. We were surprised by the indifference of some traders or the exaltation of my dear baker. It is a developing country with regard to tourism and English is not completely mastered which gives rise to funny conversations. Hoping to have given some useful information for the preparation of your trip, I wish you a pleasant stay ....”
