Vacation rentals with breakfast in Penacova

Eduardo was a great host. He greeted us on arrival and allowed us to check in early. He explained the location and surroundings using a map. The continental breakfast was very satisfying. The place was very clean and nicely appointed. Eduardo’s hospitality wax unforgettable especially when he helped us with our bags and ever responsive. I would very highly recommend this Air B & B to someone else.

Recomendo o espaço para quem queira umas férias para descansar em família. O alojamento é bem organizado e limpo e tem todas as comodidades para passar uns dias. A piscina é uma mais valia, principalmente para que gosta de passar o tempo na água ou a apanhar sol. O Sr. João é uma pessoa afável, sempre preocupada com o bem estar dos hóspedes.

l'appartement est dans 1 très jolie maison. La rue est calme. A pied on est rapidement à l'université magnifique à visiter. on peut tout faire à pied. Petit déjeuner compris, et pain frais livré le marin. Édouardo répond à nos demandes. A appelé 1 taxi pour nous le matin de notre départ et était présent pour nous saluer. Un séjour de charme

L‘appartement est spacieux et la vue donne sur un jardin de citronniers et orangers. Le quartier est calme. Le jardin botanique et l’université sont à quelques pas. Nous avons apprécié le pain frais livré tous les matins.

a estadia foi ótima em todos os sentidos, a localização é de fácil acesso ao centro, a habitação muito bonita e bem cuidada e Eduardo super gentil e atencioso com os hóspedes. recomendo!

Everything was perfect! The location is great since it's next to the Aguieira dam (5mins) and not far away from the city of Coimbra (30mins). The neighbourhood is extremely beatiful and quiet. One can enjoy both the small village and the Nature. Mr. Hélder was the best host and was always available for help with any detail. He is responsible for the whole renovation of this beatiful house which belonged to his ancestors. Both the building and the furniture have many stories to be told. I can only recommend it ! Priceless !

Eine sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die zudem noch ausgezeichnetes Frühstuck herrichtet! Die Unterkunft ist sehr hübsch hergerichtet und hat einen schönen Außenbereich, der zum Ausruhen einlädt. Man muss sich im Klaren sein, dass das Dorf in dem die Unterkunft liegt, doch sehr abgeschieden liegt. Hier kann man nicht mal schnell zum nächsten Supermarkt gehen. Wer etwas sucht, wo man sich vom Alltagsstress erholen kann, ist hier vollkommen richtig und bekommt dafür einen wundervollen Blick in die Berglandschaft und ein sehenswertes, traditionelles Bergdorf. Will man sich an heißen Tagen erfrischen, gibt es zwei kleine Pools im Dorf. Eine hervorragendes Ziel, für Leute die die Ruhe suchen und die portugiesische Berglandschaft entdecken wollen. Dazu noch mit einer sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Gastgeberin, mit der man sich sehr gut unterhalten kann.

Wat een geweldige ervaring om hier te mogen verblijven. Je voelt je de koning(in). De eigenaren leggen je in de watten en helpen met alles. Ze stonden klaar met een stuk taart voor ons! Ook is het verblijf aangenaam qua ruimte, leuk ingericht,schoon en comfortabel. Zelfs met gebruik van zwembad en met ontbijt. Kan niet beter dus!

Our stay was marvelous. Our host was gracious and fun!!! He made us a very healthy and yummy breakfast. But one of the most wonderful part of this stay was Antonio took time to show us his amazing Bonsai garden and shared his years of wisdom and knowledge about plants with me. My heart is sooo full of gratitude for all the amazing wisdom and specific techniques I learned from him about the art and science of Bonsai. We were truly blessed!!! Thank you, Barry & Rich

Josephina is a very nice host. See was willing to change the initial sleeping arrangements to one that served us best. See prepared a great breakfast for us and I really enjoyed her beautiful pets. I recommend Casa Traca.

Do not hesitate to book a stay at Jonah and Sonia's bed and breakfast. First, the breakfast is excellent and generous. Second, the room itself and all the amenities are top-notch, comfortable, stylish, and cozy. The location was also great and close to the city center. Granted, there is a lot of elevation change going to and from and city center, but that's a very small price to pay for staying in a quiet, residential neighborhood in Coimbra, which is, of course, built on a hill. Jonah and Sonia were also very gracious hosts, offering to give us recommendations and checking in to see that we were comfortable. Such a far better experience than staying in a hotel or traditional Airbnb. Also, can confirm there is ample street parking nearby.

Great breakfast. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Good location not too far to walk to the historical area. Room clean and decorated tastefully. Would definitely stay again if visiting Coimbra.

This is a great place to say. The rooms have beautiful decor, the entire place is sparkling, has lots of light and even blooming orchids in the bathroom. Antonio serves great breakfast and presents beautifully

Linda casa e jardim de bonsais. Espaço bem decorado, impecavelmente limpo e funcional. O António é um anfitrião atento e acolhedor. Localização fora das rotas turísticas em bairro simpático, com restaurantes, cafés e loja de comércio tradicional à mão.
