Family-friendly vacation rentals in Pembrokeshire

Phil and Alison were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Everything worked well and we had a great time. They took time to send recommendations and even bought us a bottle of fizz to celebrate. Would love to come back!

We've just come back from a great few days at Secret Water. There were six of us and the space worked really well. The warm, well-equipped kitchen had a big table with plenty of chairs, so that when somebody was cooking, we all sat around the table chatting, and nobody was left alone preparing food. When we weren't in the kitchen, we were in the living room, which was also a great size, with plenty of seating and a wood burner for cosy evenings. The bedrooms were very well-proportioned and comfortable. However, the highlight was the wood-fired hot tub, which was the icing on the cake. We fired it up and sat out in it for ages in near-freezing air temperatures, with clear, star-filled skies above us. It was just wonderful. Unsurprisingly, there was also Prosecco involved. Our main contact for the holiday was Lucy and any queries we had were answered promptly, but at no time were the owners intrusive at all. All-in-all, it was an excellent time. We have had a wonderful few days at The Old Rectory and Cottage,a family holiday celebrating a special birthday. Both properties have bags of character and the family loved the gardens,games room and hot tub.Plenty of bathrooms and toilets. The views are amazing! The extra touches such as fresh flowers from the gardens in vases were lovely and welcoming. Deanna is a great host and quick to reply to any queries we had. Overall a really happy time in a special place ☺️ We are already planning a second visit!

Great location by South Beach. Accommodation as advertised. Worked well for our small dog.

Maya and Robins place was extremely relaxing! It was wonderful to unplug from the world around us and enjoy time as a family! The hot tub was lovely!!! We were visited by the cats on our final night and day, which our daughter loved. Socks was super friendly!! We would definitely come back!

The house is in a lovely location, tucked away off the main road, and less than 10 min walk to the village pub and train station. Tenby is easily walkable to along the beach or coastal path. The place is compact but spotlessly clean, with everything we needed and the hot tub was set up and ready to use. Rebekah was a helpful and friendly host who greeted us on arrival.

Ty Pren was perfect for us. lovely homely lodge with the most beautiful garden and views. Brilliant for nature lovers, so many birds! Simon was very helpful,friendly and responsive to messages. Only 15 mins walk into Newport, quite steep walking back but wouldn't have the wonderful views otherwise! Would love to return!

Beautiful cottage with everything we needed, and plenty of space for all of us. Really clear instructions from the host. Perfect setting for a weekend away - great coastal walks and beaches nearby. The Golden Lion pub was brilliant for dinner, too.

very nice house and surroundings, the local beach you could access from the back garden or a short drive. This beach was probably the one we most enjoyed clean, sheltered and calm, good for walking our 3 Jack Russell's. Annie the housekeeper was very helpful and told us too just relax and enjoy our holiday which we did. For a very nice pub lunch we visited the brewers pub twice, also the freshwater inn just a couple of doors from the house. Great hosts very responsive, if I had one suggestion it would be to get a stair gate that fits just too keep children safe and stop the dogs from trying too go upstairs. would definately recommend 👌

Our primary reason for the stay was to visit our daughter who lives nearby. Angus and Bean couldn't have been kinder, ensuring we had plenty of logs if the evenings were chilly, checking that we had everything we needed and their enthusiasm for the locality was evident. A beautiful place to stay and we shall definitely return later this year.

We had another great stay at Highfields Cottage which is five star accommodation in superb surroundings. Set in beautiful countryside which feels secluded but is just over five minutes drive from Pembroke with numerous beautiful beaches within easy reach which for us is the perfect combination. Emma was a great host, greeted us on arrival but otherwise left us to our own devices. She made it clear that she was available if needed and was very responsive when called upon for help or advice. My wife and I can highly recommend this property and will undoubtedly stay again with our dog who loved staying at Highfields Cottage as much as we did.

Very happy with my stay. St David's is beautiful, and whilst the property is on the high street, it is relatively quiet. Property was exactly as described and Alex was a very communicative and accommodating host.

We had a fantastic stay at this peaceful farm. The accommodation was not only cosy but also uniquely furnished with lovely touches that gave it so much character — it truly felt like a home away from home. The surroundings were stunning, with beautiful countryside views, fresh air, and a real sense of calm. We loved waking up to the sounds of nature and spotting the farm animals, such a refreshing change from city life! Our host was warm, friendly, and full of great local recommendations. We explored some breathtaking coastal paths and nearby beaches, all within easy reach. It’s a perfect place to relax, unwind, and experience a bit of rural charm. We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend this special place. Thank you Maggie and Richard for creating such a special and unique space and making us feel so at home.

We had a great week here - location is really good near to saundersfoot and walkable to Tenby . The park is extremely well looked after with plenty of space and very peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful - we recommend Swallow Tree very highly to anybody looking for a high quality relaxing holiday in a great location

Great van on a quiet bit of the park but within easy reach of the beach and entertainment area. Very homely and super clean. Kiln Park is a great site, perfect walk into Tenby.

Exactly as expected and hoped for. The cabin was at the top of the site and very, very peaceful. Beautiful surroundings. Liz's instructions were faultless and she was really helpful and quick to respond. The cabin is amazing, very quirky, retro vibes. All amenities worked well. We visited in beautiful sunny conditions so were out all day, everyday. There is a tv and plenty of dvd's and games if needed. Outdoor seating area which was very relaxing in the evening. Perfect location for trips to Cardigan, Aberporth and surrounding areas. The walk by Cenarth falls is beautiful and there are a number of pubs also nearby but a car is needed. The on site bar was open, spotlessly clean and run by a very friendly gentleman. It is a wooden cabin, not modern and not a five star establishment...exactly what we wanted. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to go back again!!! Thank you Liz! 😊

Lovely site, very well kept and beautiful views. The kids really enjoyed having an indoor pool they could use on rainy days. The caravan was clean and well maintained. We would stay here again.

We had an amazing time at Faenor, Hazel is absolutely lovely, she checked if my boys were ok with dogs (they are) as she has dogs and her daughter and son in law who were visiting have a puppy, my boys loved them all. The place is so peaceful and out of the way but only a short drive into Narberth for the shops. My boys absolutely loved the pool and me and the hubby loved the hot tub, it was lovely to unwind after a day out and about, plus I have arthritis so it felt like a lovely massage, my youngest went to say goodbye to the pool 3 times on the day we left! Being a city girl I love getting away from it and being around nature, with the duck pond and watching Hazel's sheep! The house was a lot bigger and more spacious than I thought, with a full bookcase of books and games for the kids and a dvd player and lots of dvds! Would highly recommend especially for families with young children, hoping to return again :-D

Wonderful location for a West Wales break close to all attractions but in a surprisingly secluded spot so close to Saundersfoot. The views are spectacular and access to the beach is perfect. The on-site pool was great also. The caravan was perfectly presented with no defects and plenty of space for 4 guests. Would highly recommend Swallow Tree and look forward to hopefully visiting again in the future.

We had a lovely 3 night stay. The property is spacious and well kept. We loved the swimming pool in the hotel next door and had a fantastic Sunday lunch there. Tony was very kind and helpful
