A great value for money for a larger group! Clean, spacious, cozy and friendly host - absolutely nothing to complain about. 😊

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

We loved Karis' house as soon as we entered. It was warm and everything necessary was available. The sauna was easy to use. Our daughter had her own sledding hill and was always outside in the snow playing. It is very safe for children as you are absolutely private. One evening we even had an aurora explosion directly above the property. It was magical. We were here for 9 days and had perfect weather. The location is great for exploring the area around Rovaniemi. You can also quickly reach the supermarket and the city. Kari is a nice and helpful host. We will be happy to come back and can recommend his log cabin to anyone who does not want to stay directly in the city. Thank you Kari for having us as your guests.

Had a very pleasant stay. The views are amazing and the hot tub was perfect! The house is very clean and well built. It’s a short 30 minute drive from the city which also means wonderful night sky without any light pollution. Felt like locals during our stay here!

We had such a wonderful, peaceful stay at Janne's place. Felt right at home. Perfectly located just outside of Yllas (you will need a car) quick drive to slopes/shops and restaurants. We had a lovely stay. Thank you Janne.

Everything was perfect! Very responsive host. Entire cottage located near the center of Akasalompo in the middle of fir trees and in a very pleasant setting. The accommodation was true to the description, well-equipped and very clean. I would recommend it and would definitely stay again.

Robin's house is a real gem. Everything is available for a wonderful stay and the area is beautiful. There is a ski slope close by and you can do a trek with huskies or a snowmobile. It is not super touristy so you can also take beautiful walks without encountering someone. This way you can enjoy winter wonderland at the fullest. Communication with Robin also went very smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to go to Lapland!

We had a wonderful stay here. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we've ever been. The sauna and hot tub were perfect to get out of the cold, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen/ living area was well done and had everything we needed. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights just walking outside. We couldn't have asked for more and will certainly be back!

We had an amazing stay here. The location is very quiet, the snow was still white (unlike in the city), though the road to the place can be slippery. The apartment is large enough, well equipped, very clean. I think the kitchen has everything you need. We were lucky enough to see the auroras almost every night during our stay here, it was perfect! Thanks for making our last days in Finland even more magical!

We stayed at Laura’s cozy home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. Her lovely home had everything we needed and so much more. It was spotlessly clean with helpful info throughout to make us feel welcome. The sauna was wonderful. The location is beautiful and in the middle of nature, with many trails. We even saw the Northern Lights! Easy access to/from the City Center by bus. Grocery within walking distance. All communications with Laura were very fast, helpful and informative. She is a terrific host! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Mia’s place is a gem! We were so glad to stay here, near the amenities of Akaslompolo but much quieter and also free of light pollution. Being able to get on the cross country ski tracks from our door was amazing… particularly because these tracks are virtually empty, like you have them to yourself. And, the kota (traditional hut) is really special… stocked with firewood so that you can use it when you want, anytime. We saw the northern lights 3 out of 4 nights!!!!! And we loved the cozy atmosphere of the cottage. Once you figure out how Finnish saunas work by using Mia’s instructions in her book… it heats up really nicely in 30 minutes OR you can set a timer for when you are going to arrive back. We loved it here!

We loved our stay with Kati. She is quite polite and quick to respond. Everything was very clear. House itself is very comfortable and cozy. It was pristine clean and we got welcoming cookies and chocolate. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The only slight inconvenience is location if you are coming during holidays because buses don’t run every day and they are kinda rare. This was written on Katis profile so we knew what we are getting into. But everything else was perfect. Thank you Kati for hosting us, our time in Rovaniemi was excellent ☺️

Tanja was very nice and helpful. The house is very cozy, secluded, quiet… it is in an idyllic place and has everything you need and more. If I went back, I would stay here again. At first, the snowy roads and the hour and a half to Rovaniemi may be scary, but it's well worth it. There's an incredible tranquility. There's not a sound. The house is at a very good temperature. Again, I greatly appreciate Tanja for all the details and her attention.

A very nice house in a very quiet and beautiful location, halfway between Rovaniemi and Kemi. The sauna and Kota are amazing and awesome. The house is very well equipped and tastefully decorated. We were able to do activities nearby, snowshoeing in Kätkävaara, sled dogs and snowmobiling in Parpalandia, Finnish sauna in Kemi with swimming in the frozen Baltic Sea. It's also possible to see the northern lights from the house. A great stay and a beautiful house surrounded by quiet and serene nature. This is such an unique place. The landscape, the jacuzzi, the sauna with a view, reindeers around the cottage and Northern lights right in front of the door. Everything was just perfect.

Located in a quiet and peaceful environment, Johanna and Marko's accommodation allows you to rest well. The cottage is well-equipped and has all the comforts you need. However, activities in a nearby environment are rare.

Everything was as described. We had nice, quiet and relaxing days. The sauna and the view of nature was our highlight.

We've rarely felt so comfortable. The house is very cozy and lovingly furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped and a variety of basic food is available. On the day of departure, a reindeer greeted us in front of the living room window. The evenings in front of the fireplace were very relaxing and another highlight was the wood-burning sauna. Although the tap water is noticeably ferrous, Sampo provides more than enough drinking water for cooking and drinking. If you are looking for solitude and peace, this is the place to be. The windows in the house cannot be opened and a hairdryer is not provided.

Great space inside, lots of windows with great views over the river. Comfortable bunk beds, traditional sauna heated with wood fire was a fab experience. Shops 10 km away, super quiet. It's the second time we stayed at Antti's and would recommend it.
