The cottage is located on a plot of land comprising two houses (one of which I occupy) as shown in the last photo.

We very much enjoyed staying at Mickael’s gite. It was comfortable and well-furnished and was a nice place to stay overnight on our way to the south of France. We think it would be an excellent base to explore this part of the Dordogne region.

Very comfortable accommodation with family, well arranged and well-equipped. The hosts are very welcoming and very quickly responsive by message. The outdoor space is a little extra that was very appreciated by children.

Independent Cottage in Périgord Noir

Lovely little place, perfect for two people, ideally situated between Brive and Terrasson. Very clean, comfortable bed, everything you need. Great for eating outdoors, and a little lawn. The steps up might be problematic for people with mobility issues, however. Easy access to local supermarkets, boulangeries, restaurants, markets. The World Heritage Site at Lascaux is only 20 minutes drive, and the Dordogne Valley is very close. The countryside is magnificent, but beware the pollen count in the spring if you have hay fever. Other people have mentioned road noise... yes, there is a bit, but it's not intrusive... listen to the amazing birdsong instead. We had a great holiday there.

"The woodland setting"

Great extended weekend spent with the family. This house is super well equipped to accommodate the whole family, from toddlers to the biggest. House in a very good location to be quiet in a green setting. Lots of activities between 15 and 30 minutes' drive from the house. We had a great time!
