StayVista at Villa Marina - By the Sea w/ Lawn

DonnaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
I recently stayed at Villa Marina in Padne, Kerala, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The location is perfect for anyone looking to relax by the beach. The villa is well-maintained, with spacious, clean rooms and modern amenities that made our stay comfortable. The private lawn was a great spot to unwind, and the serene coastal views added to the charm. The host was very attentive and ensured that everything we needed was taken care of. What I loved most was the peaceful atmosphereโ€”the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. Waking up to the sound of the waves was magical. Overall, Villa Marina offers great value for money. If youโ€™re looking for a quiet retreat by the beach, this is definitely a place to consider. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for two nights with my wife and kids and it just felt like our home. Aptly located within the town , yet securely private. The place is ideal for 5 adults. Neat and clean and has all the listed amenities. Sudeep as well as his caretakers gave us very warm and welcoming hospitality. During our future trips to Kannur/ kasargode we donโ€™t have to look for another option.
A spacious interior features large glass windows that allow natural light to illuminate the wooden floors and create a connection with the surrounding greenery. Two individuals are seated on chairs, enjoying the view of the outdoors, framed by the triangular architectural design.

This was my first stay at a homestay. I wasn't sure what to expect. However it turned out to be a great experience. We were welcomed with a refreshing lemonade drink by friendly host. They helped us settle down quickly. All amenities are good. We being strict vegetarian, kitchen was really useful. Thank you Babu and special thanks to Amma as well. Beach is just five minutes walk where we spent lots of time.

how can I start.. Vinod ji and his family are super lovely and good took care of me like I am a family member. Krishna arranged about things to do , yoga session which was really great guru , took me to temple and famous ashram, checked on me always if I want anything. Shanmukha took care about got all the fresh seafood that I requested and made sure I wasn't felt left alone because I travelled alone. He also made the best masala chai in Kerala. Vinod ji was the one who answered me every messages promptly and took good care of any requests. And last but not least my star Yashodha. She cooks amazing food like magic. I will always miss her food. I wish I could take her home with me. ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿ˜

This place is a adobe in its own world!! Absolutely beautiful, serene, and calm. The property is itself surrounded with nature and has maintained its raw essense of the earth. Someone looking to escape the chaos should definitely spend a night here. The three of us sisters spent 4 days there with utmost comfort of home and felt very warm and welcomed by Sandeep and Santosh (the hosts) followed by all the workers (Yalamma (someone you can almost picture your mother and sister in), Praveen (an amazing chef who cooked authentic tasty food), Junaid (got us comfortable within the space). Looking at them felt like a family together. The rooms were clean, with fresh linens and blankets provided. We took the woodpecker and that comes with a bathroom that's detached and downstairs. Definitely hygiene maintained. So, folks should definitely check with the host before booking. The river is a must that you should visit along with certain beautifully set platforms overlooking the nature.

Kerala Countryside Heritage Villa near waterfall

VigneshRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed here for a couple of days and had a truly calm and pleasant experience. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property is a beautiful, traditional Kerala heritage house with lots of trees lining the entrance, adding to its charm and peaceful vibe. Itโ€™s a great spot if youโ€™re looking to relax and unwind. The host can arrange delicious local meals on request, which are delivered right to the doorstep โ€” a very convenient touch. There were some mosquitoes, but nothing unmanageable. Overall, itโ€™s a peaceful retreat and definitely worth the price. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the authentic charm of Kerala in a serene setting.
