Above the forest. Under the Milky Way. A converted shipping container just above the tree line. We'll take you up through the forest in our golf cart. Completely off-grid. A queen bed, 100% linen, a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, and a covered deck with a fire pit, hammock and Cape Cod chairs. Rain is never a reason to go inside. With quirky character & few mod-cons this is a place to be away from the TV, rest up & enjoy stunning nature on the doorstep. We have kept as many original features as possible, so you get to experience a traditional Kiwi holiday - with a few added comforts. We are dog friendly - check the house rules. Fibre WIFI very efficient. BBQ available. Maximum guest number is 3 including children/infants/babies.

Baylys Beach is an amazing place to visit, with a huge range of activities, beach fun, walking, fishing, 4WDriving, surfing, motorbiking, local golf course or just RELAX! We enjoy guests who appreciate the west coast and what its got to offer. Go no further in booking our bach if you cant handle sand, bugs, a little dust and cobwebs and buying toilet paper if it runs out. This 1940's reno bach is a still a WIP but has a new kitchen, toilet/bathrm, 3 bedrooms, ultrafast WIFI/Smart TV.
