Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Paquera

We loved our stay! Stephano has created a unique, artsy space. The space is open, airy and connected to the outdoors. It is perfectly located outside of town yet in a great location for seeing the area. The yard is gorgeous and we loved the outdoor spaces with the hammocks. Stephano is a joyful host and quick to respond to any questions or needs you may have. The place is a gem, you can feel the love. If you are looking for a space that connects you to nature this place is for you! Be sure to eat at Playa de los Artistas. Hard to leave.

We had such an amazing stay at Richard’s home! It has everything you need for your stay and the most beautiful beach view. Richard and Maria were  wonderful hosts, they were so helpful and kind. The home was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location is very peaceful and close to so many great restaurants. We especially liked Rocamar, which is conveniently right next door. Our stay could not have been any better and we did not want to leave! I would highly recommend Richard’s place, and hope to visit again someday!

Absolutely wonderful! I cannot describe how beautiful the place was. Concierge was wonderful, extremely attentive and responsive. Group of 7 stayed and had lots of space. The pool was definitely our favorite part. House had everything we needed from spices to extra towels to air fryers. 10/10

Manuel & Elkin made this vacation a hit! The setup of the house was perfect for 2 families. King beds(very comfortable) and private baths for parents and kids had plenty of space and own bathrooms. The pool was perfect size and the open kitchen allowed great gathering spaces. Elkin the caretaker shows up immediately whenever you need anything and extremely helpful, even texted us one morning to let us know the monkeys were out and walked us to them, plus he's an amazing human! -Grocery store right next door open 7am-9pm-make sure to try the lunch special and empanadas cooked out front of store. -Fabulous Bakery next door accepts US dollars has amazing pastries -Coffee shop 3 minute walk on way to beach with pop dinner while we were there! -Pedro for surf board lessons and rental on the way to the beach -Full bar restaurant overlooking beach for dinners after evening swims watching the sun go down. -close to Playa Hermosa and Santa Teresa, so nice to stay away from the hustle.

The house and property were as described and expected and we were extremely happy with our stay! We were specifically looking for something outside of the typical tourist spots and Gary’s place did not disappoint. Gary specifically stated that the mosquito population at his house was low and he was absolutely right! Just a few tips and recommendations for other potential visitors. - The kayaks must be taken down the hill to the beach for each use for security reasons. We hesitated to use them until our last day for this reason but we wish we hadn’t. Gary made it very easy and he took them down on his car. It’s an easy paddle to some snorkeling and nice beach areas. You can avoid paying for parking and hauling gear. - there is a public road between the pool area and beach where locals like to park and hang out. Shrubbery gives visual privacy but you may hear music. This did not detract from our stay. Overall we absolutely recommend this house to others.

We had a great stay! Galina was very helpful with everything we needed, and the house was very comfortable.

It was a great stay! Lots of space, great view of the beach really enjoyed spending time with some friends here. There are a couple of restaurants a few minutes walk away and a bus stop to go into town. Great stay - would def recommend. Thanks for everything!

Fue nuestra primera vez en la zona y desde antes de reservarlo, Lorna fue muy atenta explicando y recomendando qué lugares visitar. En sitio te recibe Adonis quien en todo momento fue super atento, amigable y anuente a ayudarte en todo, desde dónde comer hasta cómo llegar a las playas y de paso enseñarte el lugar. Que dicho sea de paso es divino en medio de muchos árboles, sonido de pajaritos y visita de los monos aulladores. El apartamento está súper bien equipado, limpio, blanco y una luz natural hermosa. El pueblo tiene una vibra lindísima, la playa tiene muchas piedras pero ese es su encanto. La cereza en el pastel son Luna y Toby que te acompañan en las caminatas y la piscina entre una sombra muy apenas para relajarse en la tarde. Sin duda, volveremos 🫶🏼.

I stayed here for my birthday and graduation and Melissa the co- host, did such a good job, my friend and her planned a surprise birthday decor for me and I saw it once I finally arrived. It was beautiful. She communicated so well and did such an amazing job. Thank you so much Melissa. Also- the place was SOOOO clean and nice. It was such a beautiful stay. I would stay here again 10/10

Excellent séjour, endroit propre et calme. La piscine et la cuisine extérieure sont des espaces partagés. Très belle végétation, piscine chauffé et impeccable, région magnifique, air climatisé fonctionnel, hôtes aimables et respectueux. La location de la voiture nous a permis d’être autonome lors de nos sorties et nous avons fait tous nos repas sur place. Une plus grande épicerie est accessible à 25 minutes. Nous recommandons et nous y retournerons certainement. Merci à Diego!

Our stay in the bamboo and glass house, Casa Rumi, was delightful. You can tell the hosts have put in a lot of effort to help their guests feel at peace and among nature. We saw toucans, macaws, morphos, and grasshoppers. Two cats greeted us each morning and sometimes visited at night. We experienced the sound healing ceremony, which was a relaxing way to end our stay in Costa Rica. You will need a 4x4 vehicle to make the drive up the hill, but it is more than doable and you will get used to it. Playa Hermosa is as the name suggests and Jaco is right around the corner, with Manuel Antonio National Park 1.5 hours further south. Highly recommend!

Ein wunderbarer Ort - drei Häuser auf einem gepflegten, aber trotzdem dschungelhaften Grundstück. Der Strand und viele Tiere (Affen, Echsen, Vögel, Squirrels) direkt vor der Tür. Die Häuser sind nicht luxuriös (keine AC), aber mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Gutes WLAN, Küche, hochwertiges Bett, großzügiges Badezimmer, Hängematte, überdachtes Liegebett im Freien. Der Kontakt mit Co-Host Ximena war entspannt und unterstützend, wir wurden bestens betreut. Der Ort Montezuma ist fussläufig erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, für uns zählen die Firefly-Häuser zu den schönsten Orten auf unserer Costa-Rica-Reise.

La casa es preciosa, y tiene de todo para pasarla de diez. El unico punto negativo si tuviera que marcar algo es que tiene muchas camaras de seguridad dentro de la casa y uno se siente un poquito observado, pero sacando eso lo recontra recomendaria y volveria sin dudas!! las camas muy comodas!!

This place was above and beyond and the people were even better. They were very accommodating and recommended great places. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Good value for money: nice location in Cabuya close to the park, Montezuma, and many nice beaches. Good coffeeshop around the corner. Nice patio and yard to dine with mango trees. Amenities are somewhat basic, but all necessities are there, so this fit us fine. Upstair bedroom has no bathroom access. Marla was responsive throughout.

Tiene unas vistas espectaculares, siento que es un sitio para ir a relajarse, en familia , habían 2 perros bastantes simpáticos, realmente la entrada es bastante hermosa, pero la subida para la llegada de la casa si es un poco complicada , carros pequeños no sé si suben fácilmente, hay lugar para hacer BBQ Y PISCINA. Agradable .

Robin ist ein sehr freundlicher und erfahrener Gastgeber. Alles hat auf Anhieb funktioniert. Die Schlüssel waren in einem Schlüsselfach am Grundstückstor, für das wir am Tag der Anreise einen Code von Robin bekommen haben. Auf dem Weg zum Haus fährt man vorbei an zahlreichen Orangenbäumen. Es gibt da diesen Song von Peter Fox „Haus am See“ – ein bisschen dieses Gefühl. Zur Ausstattung gehört entsprechend auch eine Orangenpresse, mit der man sich frischen Orangensaft machen kann. Das ganze Haus ist liebevoll gestaltet und die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Die Unterkunft ist oberhalb der Stadt Carmona in den Bergen von Nandayure auf ca. 500 Meter. Es gibt weder öffentlichen Strom noch öffentl. Wasser. Das Wasser im Haus kommt aus der eigenen Quelle, und der Strom kommt von der Sonne. Internet ist Starlink. Glasklarer Sternenhimmel und in unmittelbarer Umgebung findet man viele atemberaubende Plätze, Strände und Wasserfälle. Absolute Empfehlung!
