A Rustic Escape with Breathtaking Views If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place. Tucked in a remote village, it offers stunning views of the beach on one side and backwaters on the other. We were lucky enough to spot a dolphin in the sea, a highlight of our stay. The accommodation is rustic and simple, with no Wi-Fi or modern amenities, perfect for a digital detox. The food, homemade by Mr. Mohanan and his wife, Divya, was a treatโ€”each meal felt like a warm, local experience. Lt. Col. Sudhir was a fantastic host, offering great tips on local temples and hidden beaches weโ€™d never have found on our own. Itโ€™s a quiet, off-grid retreat where you can truly unwind and enjoy nature. If you're after peace, stunning views, and a chance to disconnect, I highly recommend this place.

We visited Serenity House in January 2023. My two friends and I had visited and from the booking request onwards the hosts Nilesh and Beena have been very helpful and responsive . We were given precise instructions and it was nice to meet Nilesh and Beena who helped us ease the check in. The house has a fully functional kitchen. The caretaker served us good breakfast and was always available for any help that we needed. You have a view of the backwaters and can hear the constant rumble of the sea. The beach is just 100 meters away and the sea.was quite calm. It's mostly an empty beach and it's stretching for many kilometres. Its a calm and silent island. Some restaurants are available a few kilometres away from the place or you can also go to Payannur town for more op pt options. Kayaking and backwater cruise is also available nearby for activities.
A modern bathroom features smooth, light-colored walls and a sleek white sink mounted on the wall. Two circular mirrors are positioned above the sink, complemented by stylish black fixtures. A simple yet functional door leads to the space, enhancing the overall minimalistic design.

The place was an absolute heaven. If you want a quite, peaceful, beautiful place for yourself, away from the city chaos, this is the place to go. The lake at your footsteps, cool morning breeze and a breathtaking view from the room makes your day even before it starts. The host is also friendly and helpful. we had a great stay at uChill, we wanted to relax by the beach which is serene and not overcrowded and this was the perfect choice for us . Yash our host was very friendly and guided us with places to visit and arranged homely food , they also provided us charging point for EV vehicle which was awesome. finally good place to unwind and relax from the hustle bustle of the city life
