Far away enough from the hustle and bustle of Provincetown, yet a 10 - 15 minute car ride to some of the Cape's best known beaches. Toilet is an outhouse set up. Shower is outdoors. The yurt has a clear plexiglass dome at the center of the ceiling, which lets light in all day - natural lighting is great, but it does mean you may be "up with the sun" I put a "sunshade" in the reduce the heat.

Dereks home near the Pamet River was so incredibly lovely. The home has been restored with so much care and attention to detail, and the layout is so inviting for the most relaxing vacation. There was ample space for my family with young kids and my parents to all have a bit of privacy. We loved kayaking on the river and taking the suggested “float” with the current. The huge dining room table was the perfect spot for a couple lobster dinners, and the outdoor shower was so refreshing at the end of a long day at the nearby beaches. Thank you Derek, for a wonderful vacation! We hope to be back next summer!

Zita’s home was perfect for us! We immediately felt comfortable due to Zita’s lovely personal touches. She really cares about her guests and communicated with us whenever we had questions. The outdoor shower was beautiful and so rejuvenating at the end of our beach adventures. The kitchen was well equipped with essential cookware and modern appliances. We really enjoyed our stay. This was the most beautiful property for an outer cape trip. You feel you are truly in the water as you had ocean in front and bay behind you. The condo is spotless, kitchen full with whatever you could need, and appointed with thoughtful touches like extra linens, games, and guides. Can’t wait to stay again!

North Truro Bayside Cottage

The cottage was even more cute in person than in the pictures. It was delightful to be able to walk to Great Hollow Beach during the day when beach stickers would be needed for parking, or to easily drive over in the evenings after regulated hours to catch sunsets and such. Easy access to Truro and Wellfleet (and presumably P-town, though we didn't end up going.). Romeo was very helpful and responsive. I do recommend arriving during daylight; I think it would have been tricky to find the place for the first time in the dark. There are a cluster of similar cottages nestled together, but we felt like there was enough privacy even when hanging out outside in the evening.

The spacious double-height room features angled wooden beams and large windows allowing natural light to fill the area. A comfortable seating arrangement faces a central coffee table, while a modern kitchen with wooden cabinets is visible in the background. Stairs lead to a sleeping loft adorned with colorful textiles.

Wonderful and artistic cottage in Truro. Lovely, kind, and responsive owners made it a terrific stay. The cottage is so pretty and had everything of couple of two needed for a week. The kitchen was great for making meals — and the location is so close to Blackfish, the best restaurant in Truro we think for a special night out. We walked to Corn Hill beach for sunsets and made the quick drive to the National seashore beaches most other days. Fabulous home away from home for a relaxing week on the outer cape. Thanks for everything, Carlotta!

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s place. The house was comfortable for our group of 4 and was the perfect location for outer cape excursions in Truro, Provincetown and Wellfleet. The garden was absolutely exquisite and a peaceful place to start and end our day. Would absolutely stay here again!
