Nice place to stay at Kalimpong, not far from market. Nice ambiance and Prasant is very decent and food was also good. Someone will feel like home.

We stayed at this homestay with a group of 5, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We could cook together, enjoy meals at the large dining table, and even store leftovers for late-night snacks. This was my first time in Kalimpong and I came for a research trip. Bidhya aunty and her whole family were extremely nice and helpful and I felt right at home :) There were so many cute dogs (and a cat) and the location was extremely beautiful with lots of opportunities for nice walks and hikes. The food by Binita didi was absolutely delicious and even simple things like the tea and coffee were so good. They always made sure to fulfill all my requests and I really benefitted with all their recommendations about local places to see and other things that would be relevant to my research. I highly recommend the place as the host is very genuine and sweet and never made me feel like I was staying away from home :) I will miss all of them a lot and will definitely return again to stay!
