We have farm animals and we run an animal rescue that can have up to 32 dogs. They stay in a fenced-in yard where the pool is located and love to swim with guests! We have added Starlink internet to the cabin as well as a smart TV to greatly enhance your entertainment options during your stay.

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

Hidden Gem Cottages: Sapphire Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house has a king bed in the master with attached bath, a secondary bedroom with 2 queens, an additional hall bath and queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It sits on a stocked pond with a fishing pier. You will have access to fish and relax at our catch and release pond. The outdoor space also includes a patio with gas grill, large front porch overlooking the pond, covered back porch overlooking woods and a fire pit.

Our Guest House is recently remodeled and just re-listed on Airbnb. It now has a full kitchen with an oven and induction cooktop, new flooring and other new finishes. Located in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas with breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and valleys. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This tree house is sitting on stilts among trees where a beautiful oak tree comes through the elevated outside dining patio area. The tree house is located on our 15 acres of wooded property with approx. 1 mile in walking trails in the woods on the property for exploring and observing wildlife. Our guests frequently notice our deer and other woodland creatures who share this space with us.
