At first i was sceptical to search for space and staycation that can fit at least 4 families with young kids. Sylvia place was an absolute choice and worth it. Kids love the pool, muslim friendly, great outdoor setup and ample parking. The room was nice, AC was ok, but limited option for attached bathroom. Overall i would highly recommend and meet above expectation. Thanks to the friendly and helpful host!

We had a lovely 3D2N family stay at Rompin House, beautifully maintained and full of colonial charm. The main house has 3 spacious bedrooms, while 2 smaller ensuite rooms are in an adjoining building, accessible only from outside. The large compound fit 4 cars, with space for kids to play and morning stretches. We enjoyed tasty inhouse meals (steamboat dinner & fried beehoon lunch) prepared by the kind caretakers, Mr. Rashid and his wife, who were very respectful of our privacy, serving all meals via the side path with direct access to the dining room. Evenings were quiet, so we played our own games and sang with our own karaoke set. One downside was the weather, daytime was 22–23°C and nights 18–20°C. The smaller rooms, with only standing fans, felt a bit stuffy at times. Ironically, it was cooler outside than inside. Still, it was a relaxing, memory-filled stay that added another special chapter to our family’s collection.
