Vacation rentals in Pagua River

This Airbnb was absolutely amazing. Close to the nicest beaches on the island and several waterfalls/rivers. Amber has done a great job putting together a guidebook to ensure you locate the places you want to visit. The location feels secluded and at night you hear the waves crashing. There's also a mini mart at the corner (5 min walk) and plenty of restaurants in the area. Don't forget to try the local fruit stands too. Amber is also proactive host and always responded within minutes. If you plan on visiting places in the Northern part of the island this is an ideal stay. 10/10 would recommend to anyone coming to Dominica.

They did a great job accommodating a relatively last-minute reservation. The house is just over a hill from the construction site for the new airport, so even though it's close you don't have any noise or ugly views. There are some restaurants/bars 10-15 minutes to the West in/near Calibishie. The best beach on the island (Batibou) is also close. However, other major sites are 45+ minutes away. It's a very quiet corner of Dominica.

Arnaud et Marica sont des personnes particulièrement accueillantes et j’ai adoré mon passage dans leur appartement. La localisation est particulièrement paisible au bord d’une belle rivière et l’appartement est parfaitement équipé. C’est le lieu parfait pour découvrir l’Est de la Dominique. What a gem. Top air bnb stay for me. Stunning beauty, surrounded by nature with sounds images cannot depict. The house itself, is so creatively and solidly made. Close to lots of local attractions (falls/hikes/hots springs) and the capital Roseau is a short drive down the hill. I stayed in 4 different locations in Dominica and this was my favorite. A perfect place to meditate and connect with the earth. There seemed to be a magic in the air here as I was in sync with nature and everything seemed to just fall into place. Hard to explain- but if you are going to Dominica and even considering staying her. Do yourself the favor and stay here. Even though I did not get a chance to meet the hosts (I was only there 2 nights), they were communicative and directions/instructions were easy to follow. When I return to Dominica, I will return to this heavenly retreat!

OMG…where to start? Isha was one of the best host I’ve encountered. With all my travels there has been only one other person I would say that about. As soon as I walked into the place I felt at home! It was so beautiful. So nicely decorated. Usually I feel the need to clean or at least spray lysol, but not there. The whole place was spotless. And matched the pictures perfectly! It was so quiet and peaceful there. The mattress was so comfortable. I used the local bus to get there and it was very easy to find. The checkin instructions were the best I’ve ever gotten, so easy to get in. There is a very nice restaurant and market, within 1-2 minutes walk. I didn’t walk to the beach because I did a day tour, but I understand there is a nice one within a short walk. If I find I need a stay in Calibishie, this is where I will be staying.

I’ve stayed here multiple times, and every visit has been exceptional. The place is always immaculate, and the host consistently maintains the highest standards. Communication is prompt and reliable. I highly recommend this spot, especially for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay. It’s the perfect location for a quick trip spotless, cozy, and well kept.

LOCATION. If you stick to 1 spot, no better option than Pont Casse. Some sights nearby (Emerald Pool, Jacko Flats. Salton Falls , ...) and rest of Nature's Island's impressive bounty a 30-60min drive. Being central allows easy access to East (Rosalie, Le Plaine, airport,...) and West (Roseau, Champagne Beach, Scotts Head, ...) Coasts and a some windy driving will get you to Morne Trois Piton, Laudat, etc. VILLA. Loved the open layout - nice airflow that kept us cool(ish) at night. Deck was perfect to share sundowners with Jaco parrots, hummingbirds, agoutis (love pineapple!) and the stars (no light pollution in this rainforest). Kitchen fine for simple cooking, outside grill an added bonus. Wifi a challenge at times, but generally good CARETAKER. Jimmy is amazing. Strong security focus and helped out with many other things. Made our stay stress free HOST. Best we've ever had - AirBnB, VRBO, etc. Had a 90min call to answer my Qs! Shows Nikki's commitment to you having a great time

Grand appartement au 2e étages d'un chalets ouverts sur la nature entourée de rivières avec un grand balcon, sans vis à vis, traversant sur les hauteurs de Roseau à mi chemin vers les cascades, les lacs, sources d'eau chaude et randonnée. Très bien équipé pour cuisiner, un grand frigidaire et congélateur, four... les lits sont confortables et équipés de moustiquaires, la salle de bain est magnifique ouverte sur la verdure, Hôte toujours de bon conseil et proactif. C'est dépaysant, rafraîchissant et reposant de vivre ici et dormir bercé par les cours d'eau. Attention l'appartement est au dessus d'une base de canyoning, nous étions là fin mai donc hors saisons et nous avons était très peu dérangé soit un matin sur 4, car les excursions commencent le matin à 7h, et seul le planché nous sépare de la base. Cela peut donc être très bruyant ! Étant averti par les commentaires, nous avions prévu des bouchons d'oreille pour atténuer le bruit. Hors saison, nous avons été enchanté !
