I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb nestled in the foothills of Ooty. The location is serene and offers a peaceful escape from the bustle of city life. Surrounded by lush greenery and misty hills, the property has a charm that instantly makes you feel at home. What truly made the stay exceptional was the cook! The meals were delicious, home-style, and thoughtfully prepared with fresh local ingredients. Every dish—from breakfast to dinner—was a treat. Whether it was a hot cup of chai in the morning or a warm, flavorful dinner after a day of exploring, the food was consistently outstanding and comforting. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the place was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. If you're looking for a tranquil getaway with great food and natural beauty, I highly recommend this place. Would love to visit again!

The stay at the villa was a unique colonial experience and this kicked in the moment we checked in. The rooms were huge and were tastefully decorated with period furniture reflecting the tastes of Rupali. Each piece reflected the warmth of the place and in sync was its experience that we were seeking. On a lighter vein searching for one another gave us 1k steps. The breakfast arrived piping hot and was very tasty. If there is one thing that we would like to improve is to add a cooking facility like an induction cooker or gas stove and also maybe put in a place for the drivers to board in for the night. All in all this has left us with a yearning and we will be back for sure

The villa is perfectly done, the view from the villa is mesmerising, the place is new and the location is perfect, the care takers were very helpful and the best part the commutation was flawless with ram, he check upon us and made sure we had a good time at his place.

Our group of friends celebrated our 30-year high school reunion Sosa. This enchanting resort exceeded our expectations. Tucked away in the woods, this 120+ year old Kerala Tharavadu-style house offers a quaint, no-frills getaway from the city's hustle and bustle. The resort's rustic charm is beautifully preserved, with minimal essential upgrades that maintain its authenticity. Take a stroll through the woods and discover the serene river, perfect for a refreshing bath. The real star of the show is Manager George, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. From waking us up for a river visit to arranging a massive dinner delivery, George's hospitality was exceptional. While the resort has an open kitchen, we recommend exploring local eateries, like the nearby Chaaya Kada for breakfast, and ordering lunch/dinner from KPM Residency. *Note: 3rd bedroom in outhouse*. Overall, this resort is perfect for those seeking a peaceful, rustic retreat without unnecessary frills

The cottage is situated in a fantastic location and can be a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. I visited the place with my wife and our twin 5-year-old children. All of them loved this place. Thanks for the great hospitality from the caretaker, Gokul, who was very responsive. Additionally, I appreciate the transport persons, Nitish and Kumar, who were very considerate. I got a detoxifying break from work.

Nilambur is a very beautiful place unfortunately we had rains so couldn't visit tourist spots.... but we were amply compensated by the stay.... spacious, open & clean flat nestled amongst the greens of Nilambur... excellent place to stay and taken care by a gracious and extremely helpful host... if we come back to Nilambur we know where to stay

Our stay at Kalikavu has been the highlight of our 3 week trip exploring South India and loved by everyone in our group of 8 people - children and grown ups alike. The lush surroundings of rubber, betel nut and coconut trees and colourful plants with the mountains seen in the distance made it a perfect place to relax and take in nature. We all wish we could have stayed longer. Louis, Riyas and the ladies who prepared delicious meals for us were really helpful and made our stay very special. Particular thanks to Riyas who took us on a walk to the hidden waterfall where we all enjoyed a refreshing swim. We would definitely recommend Kalikavu to anyone wanting to explore Silent Valley and enjoy the beauty the valley has to offer.
